MATERIALS

Double boiler

Loaf soap mold, muffin tray & cups, or flexible, heat-resistant mold of choice

Spray bottle of high-proof vodka to remove bubbles (optional)

INGREDIENTS 1 kg of white cocoa butter or shea melt & pour soap 1 Tbsp {2-3g} earl grey tea leaves (optional) 1 Tbsp {2.5g} lavender buds (optional) 40-60 drops Earth’s Aromatique London Fog essential oil blend, or any other favourite essential oil like spearmint, peppermint or lavender. ½ cup ground loofah (optional)

DIRECTIONS To speed the melting process, chop your melt & pour soap into 1” cubes. In a double boiler over medium heat, gently stir the soap base until completely melted. Once liquid, remove from heat and stir in your essential oil blend. Slowly pour mixture into your soap mold. Lightly spray any bubbles with high-proof vodka (optional). Wait 5-10 minutes for the mixture to thicken then decorate with remaining tea leaves and lavender buds. Place in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place for at least 4 hours or overnight. Remove from your molds and bask in the delicious aroma of bergamot, lavender and vanilla!
