Magical Podhale

At the foot of the Tatras and the Beskids, on a vast area between Rysy and Babia Mountain, Podhale stretches. It is a magical place full of breathtaking views. It is home of Highlanders – people of rich, colourful traditions. Czarny Dunajec is one of many Highlander communes. It is a picturesque and peaceful commune located in the Czarny Dunajec Valley in the area of four geographical units: the Gubałowski Highlands, the Orawa Basin, the Nowy Targ

Basin and the Orawa-Nowy Targ Beskids. It is close to numerous attractions but far from the crowds of Zakopane. There is delightful nature, old historic sites, wooden architecture and picturesque hiking, cycling and skiing trails. People who live there have been preserving traditions of their ancestors for many years. They show them to tourists in the form of music, dance, handicraft or cuisine.

‘Na Kamieńcu’ Holiday Lodge

In picturesque Podhale, by the Czarny Dunajec River, there is a quiet, green place – ‘Na Kamieńcu’ Holiday Lodge. It is a cosy place with a family and Highlander atmosphere run by helpful and friendly hosts. It is an ideal spot for summer, family holidays, winter stays or camps. There are 55 accommodation places in comfortable rooms. ‘Na Kamieńcu’ is famous for delicious food – regional dishes prepared from local, healthy ingredients are served there. On special request, meals suitable for sports people can be prepared. Two spacious rooms are ideal for special events.

Rooms

‘Na Kamieńcu’ Holiday Lodge offers 55 beds in 2-,3-,4and 5-person rooms with ensuite baths. They are designed in a classical style, bright, spacious and have some Highlander accents. They are equipped with comfortable furniture, a TV and Wifi. Each room has a balcony or a terrace.

Recreation

Although Czarny Dunajec is full of attractions, you will not get bored even if you do not leave the lodge. Lit and roofed terrace, a barbecue site and a garden house are at guests’ disposal – they can feast during warm, summer nights. During the day, one can spend time in a garden where a volleyball and football playing field is. In the building you will be able to play table football or table tennis. There is also a multipurpose room (8x16 m) for groups where it is possible to show films with the use of a projector.

Groups

Rich equipment and peaceful location make ‘Na Kamieńcu’ Holiday Lodge perfect accommodation for groups. Hosts are happy to accommodate school trips, camps, or other organised groups of children or adults.

‘Na Kamieńcu’ Holiday Lodge is a certified place by the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station and Education Authority. It also has a positive opinion from the Fire Service.

Groups have all the amenities at their disposal. Common meals, a barbecue or a campfire, dancing evenings and film shows are organised. The multipurpose room is ideal for organising entertainment whereas outside guests may do sports at the sports field or in the garden. Feasts to the sound of a band from Czarny Dunajec are organised for adult guests.

Dream events

‘Na Kamieńcu’ Holiday Lodge is a great spot to organise various events – weddings, proms, business parties or family celebrations for up to 150 people. Each event is professionally organised according to individual needs. Menu is tailored to suit a given budget and taste of guests – you can always count on professional waiting services and delicious food. Depending on the occasion, proper decorations and music are prepared. An attractive accommodation offer is prepared for all those who participate in such an event.

By bikes – the Cycling Route around the Tatras

The historic, cultural, nature Cycling Route around the Tatras is over 250 km long and offers well-prepared cycling paths. It leads through historical lands such as Podhale, Spiš, Liptov, Orawa, and goes around the Tatras on the Polish and Slovak side. It also runs 500 metres from ‘Na Kamieńcu’ Holiday Lodge. It is incredibly picturesque and while following it, we can stop to see numerous interesting places. New paths, loops, links and side paths are constantly being added to the route. Almost the whole area of Czarny Dunajec Commune i.e. 15 villages, was incorporated into the system of trails. One of the most interesting sections of the route is the path which goes through beaver grounds in the area of Orawa-Nowy Targ Boglands.
