Rabka – a treasury of trails

Rabka-Zdrój – the town and the commune – is a picturesque place where every sports person can satisfy their hunger for active leisure, admire beautiful scenery and enjoy fresh air. There are a plethora of well-labelled hiking, cycling, skiing trails or bridle paths. Rabka-Zdrój, the town, is crossed by the Kazimierz Sosnowski Main Beskid Trail which leads from Rabka to Jordanów or, in the opposite direction, through the shelters on Maciejowa and Stare Wierchy to Turbacz. All the trails are diverse but equally beautiful so everybody will find something for themselves. They vary in difficulty and are

adjusted to the needs of visitors – if you are a passionate hiker, choose more difficult ones. If you are on the point of starting your adventure with mountains, choose easier ones. However, in order to spend your time actively, you can stay in the town and head for the Spa Park or the Boulevards by the Poniczanka. The proximity of nature, beautiful landscapes should convince everybody who considers visiting the place. What is more, the folklore of the region and its cultural heritage will serve as great entertainment while you take a rest from physical activity.

For cycling enthusiasts

Rabka offers a variety of ways in which you can spend your time in an active way, either in summer or winter. It is a particularly attractive area for cyclists – in summer they can participate in Rabczańskie Rowerowanie (Rabczański Cycling). Rabczański Cycling are cycling trips free of charge organised by Cyklo-Rabka Cycling Society. It is worth renting a bike then in order to explore cycling routes of various length and difficulty. Another attraction for cycling amateurs is a modern complex of a skatepark and a trial park with a wheelchair track which was built in Rabka in 2014. One can have a try at trial cycling, bmx, mountain bikes, summer and winter snowboarding or parkour at various levels there. Different obstacles such as stones, rocks, tree trunks or wooden cable spools await the brave ones.

Kross - Giant Shop and Service Point

The attractions of Rabka-Zdrój do encourage you to go on a cycling tour. Therefore, take your bike and head for this picturesque town. If you do not have a bicycle, you are afraid of repairs or you already need to carry out one, do not worry as Kross – Giant Shop and Service Point operates in the town. Koperniak Company has been offering its services and products to the amateurs of cycling for over 20 years. It started operating in Podhale where they opened a few professional sports shops. Today, it is available to cyclists in Rabka-Zdrój as well. At the shop we can choose from over 100 various bike models and sports equipment of leading brands such as KROSS, LE GRAND, GIANT, SUPERIOR or SHIMANO. You can also purchase professional cycling clothes of such popular brands as BERKNER, SILVINI, 4F, BRUBECK, UVEX or SIGNA. If you have your own equipment while staying in Rabka, you can buy numerous bike accessories or have your bike serviced – at the service point the best professionals will take care of your vehicle.

A bike rental and a wash

However, if you did not manage to bring your bicycle or you just do not have one, you may rent it at the place. The staff, who take great care of their customers, will advise you on the right model and size for you. They offer bikes for adults, teenagers and children so take your family with you too and have a lovely time with them cycling around Rabka. Well-qualified employees will do their best so that you have equipment of the highest quality and all the necessary accessories which you can use if need be.
