Szczawnica is a popular spa commune, a place chosen by health visitors and tourist in every season. It is located in the south of Lesser Poland, by the Dunajec River. It is surrounded by mountains from every side – the Beskid Sądecki and the Pieniny – which make it even more attractive. Szczawnica, the town, constitutes the heart of the commune. Its oldest part offers beautiful, historic sites including wooden villas which were built for health visitors. However, Szczawnica is not only a resort which we visit in order to improve our health but also to take advantage of its famous attractions – rafting on the Dunajec on rafts, kayaks or dinghies, the Chairlift to Palenica, Droga Pienińska (the Pieniny Tract) or trails which lead to Trzy

korony (Three Crowns, 982 m) or other mountain tops of the Pieniny. East of the town former Shlakhtov Ruthenia, located in the Grajcarek Valley, stretches. This area used to be inhabited in large numbers by Ruthenians – Orthodox churches are the only sign of their presence in the area. The Little Pieniny tower over the villages – it is a less known part of the Pieniny, definitely less crowded than the Pieniny National Park but abounding in magnificent views of the Tatras and the Main Pieniny. The Radziejowa Range which is a part of the Beskid Sądecki rises over the commune from the north. There are also numerous cycling trails – either easy or more difficult ones, which will definitely provide us with a lot of thrills.

Project Camp

Project Camp is a brand created by mountain cycling and snowboarding enthusiasts. The company organises unforgettable cycling camps and professional MTB and ENDURO training for adults and children. In winter Project Camp organises snowboard camps and freestyle training. Throughout the year, one can take advantage of interesting, active integration events for companies, schools and various organisations.

Project Camp instructors are well-qualified – they are sports people, trainers or instructors and, first and foremost, enthusiasts of active leisure. The progress and the joy of their clients while they gain new skills is the most significant for them.

Cycling training and camps

If you want to improve your MTB/ENDURO technique and spend time in an active way, short training or longer camps in the blossom of delightful nature are organised. They last from 2 days to a week. Project Camp will take you not only to the most beautiful corners of the Pieniny and the Beskid Sądecki but also to other spots in Europe

e.g. the French Alps. Every camp or training is something more than a cycling trip. It is full of professional training at various levels of advancement – beginner, intermediate and advanced. During each trip you can rent an appropriate bike, helmet and protection pads.

A school trip, a birthday or a business event

A cycling trip is a great idea for a company retreat, a team building trip, a hen party, a stag night or a birthday. Project Camp will organise a perfect event for you during which you will have fun with a group of your friends! What is more, you will gain new skills!

A bicycle rental

Project Camp Rental is situated in Szczawnica at 15 Główna Street (close to PKL Palenica car park). At the place you will rent classical, electric enduro bikes and all the necessary equipment. It is a good idea to book equipment in advance by phone.

Project Camp in winter

In winter Project Camp invites you to snowboard and freestyle training or snowboard camps. They are organised both in Poland (in the Pieniny or the Beskid Sądecki) and abroad. Training is conducted by members of the former Snowboardcross Olympic team, coaches of the national team and the current champion of Poland. You may choose from one day of schussing for people of various skills, weekend freestyle snowboard training for those who want to learn how to take advantage of snow parks in a creative but safe manner or one week camps for those who want to perfect their skills for a longer period of time.
