A commune hidden in the mountains
Muszyna is a small town located by the Poprad River, hidden in the mountains. On one hand, it is the nostalgic land of gentleness. On the other hand, it is a tourist spot and a spa which develops dynamically. Around the town we will find villages tucked into the mountains of the Beskid Sądecki. Muszyna was seen as a small town, right by the border of Poland – the end of the world with a small square, shrines, the ruins of the castle which reminds us that it used to be great. After all, it was the capital of the Muszyna State! Although the nostalgic atmosphere of a Galician town can be felt in Muszyna, it has been developing dynamically for a few years. The Square and the ruins of the Castle, which used to be in its centre,
today constitute the first, beautifully renovated step of a trip. And what is further? Further, we will find blooming gardens, mineral waters, cycling trails and new attractions which are constantly created.
Post-Lemko villages scattered in the vicinity of Muszyna, somewhere by the Poprad, right by the border with Slovakia or high in the mountains, at the foot of Jaworzyna, do not change as much. They remember Lemko people who used to live in the area. Angels revel on gentle mountains, in green alleys, over murmuring streams. From a shrine to a shrine. From an Orthodox church to an Orthodox church. From a spring to a spring. It is the true Land of
Gentleness as it was described by Harasymowicz. ‘In the mountains I will find everything I love’ this fragment refers to this place perfectly. This is a spot for poets and people who seek respite. This land was a witness of great history where people created amazing places beautifully integrated into the surrounding nature. If you venture into this area, visit its historic, recreation or a spa district, neighbouring villages and mountains. They have numerous attractions to offer.
Relaxation in the land of gentleness
Zazamcze Villa is situated in a place surrounded by a forest, close to the mineral Water Pump Room ‘Stanisław’, the ruins of the Castle ‘Baszta’ and the Sensory Gardens. This is an ideal spot to rest from the hustle and bustle of
a big city where all the comforts and attractions of the town in the Beskids are at hand. Zazamcze Villa offers intimacy and comfort to its guests. Its location allows us to take advantage of numerous attractions and activities.
It is a few steps from the Szczawnik Stream which in summer turns into pools with beaches and cascades. There is also an open-air gym, a playground and a sports field in the vicinity.
Winter attractions are also a stone’s throw from the facility as it is situated close to ski stations in Wierchomla, Krynica or Tylicz. An ice-rink, a horse stable, cycling paths and tourist trails are available as well so everybody will find a perfect activity for themselves.
Rooms decorated with taste in tranquil Muszyna
Zazamcze Villa offers two cottages to their guests. The first one consists of three double rooms and a two bedroom studio where four to six guests can stay. Every room is equipped with a TV, a separate bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Wifi is available everywhere.
The decor of Zazamcze Villa definitely encourages us to visit the place. Subdued colours, wooden accents and matching decorations make a stay in the place relaxing for our body and soul.
The second cottage comprises 4 comfortable apartments – each of them has two bedrooms, a living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. Guests have a TV, a dishwasher and a microwave at their disposal. In the evening they can rest by the fireplace.
Something more than accommodation
Zazamcze Villa is not only an intimate and comfortable accommodation facility. We can take advantage of a massage or relax by doing some handicraft there. Active visitors can take part in hiking in the mountains or Nordic walking. In winter we will be able to learn snowboarding or skiing with a well-qualified instructor on one of the nearby ski stations.
