Visit Parc National Volcans or Nyungwe Forest in Rwanda or Bwindi Forest in Uganda, and share the mountains with chimps in Tanzania’s remote west. The antics of our closest biological relatives will intrigue, delight and surprise you.

Greystoke Mahale Camp
Buhoma Lodge
Rising up from the banks of Lake Tanganyika, Tanzania’s Mahale Mountains are home to one of the world’s largest populations of chimpanzees. Greystoke Mahale, one of Africa's last special places, gives us the rare opportunity to track and learn about our primate cousins. This distinctive camp strung out on a remote beach is constructed of locally sourced sustainable materials. This is pampered seclusion like nowhere else.
Buhoma Lodge commands spectacular views of the Bwindi Forest, home to the rare mountain gorilla. Built on a hillside, the lodge is situated a few minutes' walk from the start of the gorilla tracking point. Ten spacious cottages each have their own private veranda, ensuite bathroom and spectacular views. An elevated lounge and dining room offer a cozy environment to discuss the day's activities around the fireplace.
