Kore Kamino, which comes from a Spanish word meaning the road-runner or globetrotter, is a franco-spanish label with a new concept of travelling through fashion. Kore Kamino travels to a country and searches for a local story to translate into a fashion collection. The inspiration might come from a myth or from history; from somebody’s life or a local insight; from a tradition or a poem. Kore Kamino lives in a country long enough to see its many different facets before deciding on the inspiration for the story and collection. All the pieces are then designed in the country, and produced with the help of local artisans and fairtrade collaborators.
