Most of the people in this area are elderly and live in a dependent social environment. Therefore, the space is developed to connect people and create an open space that serves as a multi-space for them to continue their social activities.

Lumtaplean Village is situated in a zone that is located on the waterway and near Lumtaplean Dam. Due to its location, the village has to deal with fluctuating water levels. Therefore, the project has a resilient strategy design that divides the area into a resident zone, agriculture zone, and resilient buffer zone. The function of the resilient buffer zone is to provide space for natural elements to increase the abundance of the environment. Additionally, the village zone is designed as an open space for the waterway to connect with the resilient buffer zone and is infiltrated with green areas that are divided into agriculture areas and eatable gardens for the village’s inhabitants.
