SAW and MIG/MAG for automatic robot welding

Random placing of nonrepetitive products

Beam welding track Automatic robot welding A beam welding track enables multiple robots to travel alongside structural steel beams or even large box girders. The beams can be randomly placed and will be automatically detected by the welding robots. The robot gantry is developed to perform multi-layer welding of stiffeners and end plates.

Robotic Submerged Arc Welding KRANENDONK has been the first supplier to develop a fully equipped robot welding tool for Submerged Arc Welding. Combining the SAW process with the flexibility of a robot gives a lot of freedom for the production of large constructions. Safety features enable the operator to closely monitor the process.

Submerged Arc Welding

Extreme product sizes

High quality welds

Submerged Arc Welding delivers thick welds with robot precision. Combined with a robot, it gives enormous freedom in heavy steel welding.

By placing the robot on a track, it can handle extreme product lengths. The system processes beams or box girders up to 2,500 mm in width.

SAW or MIG/MAG process combined with a robot ensures highly consistent welds. Weld quality can be proved with data logs.

RinasWeld software

Advanced safety features

Easy operating

Based on 3D CAD, RinasWeld generates collision free robot paths and takes care of all programming. This reduces time required for work preparation.

With safety sensors and a covered track, the operator and robot can share their workspace. In this way, the welding process can be monitored closely.

A touch screen with graphical user interface provides easy control. Only one supervisor is needed, reducing operational cost.
