Double hull welding gantry Welding of block sections A double hull welding gantry is a welding solution for large block sections of a ship. Two small robots are suspended from the gantry to weld in the smallest places. Production software with smart anti-collision makes sure the robots make optimal use of the available space.

Automatic operation With the intelligent RinasWeld software, it is possible to derive all production data from 3D CAD models. RinasWeld automatically generates collision free robot programs including predefined weld data, and distributes the workload between the robots.

Welding of large sections

The powerful RinasWeld software offers easy, but advanced offline programming. Setting up a complex block section takes only minutes.

Based on 3D CAD, RinasWeld generates robot paths and takes care of all programming. This reduces time required for work preparation.

The rigid gantry travels across a large work area to access block sections from above. High stability and motion performance ensure consistent welding.

Easy operating

RinasWeld automatically recognizes welds and applies predefined weld data. This results in high quality welds for all kinds of sections and shapes.

Tiny robots are suspended into the smallest places of a double hull or block section. With RinasWeld, the robots operate independent and collision free.

Thanks to the easy graphical user interface, multiple gantries and robots can be operated by only one supervisor. This reduces operational cost.
