It was an absolute pleasure to take a group of students to see Manchester City vs Newcastle last weekend. Although we had an early start, it was a smooth journey to Manchester. For the second time we have managed to get ourselves on TV watching the match (see the proof below!) The students represented the school well wherever we went with members of staff receiving compliments on the good behaviour from members of the public.

As with all school trips, we aim to take as many students as possible on as wide a selection of trips as possible. I would always remind students that their attendance and behaviour record is taken into account when looking at the final lists of students on a trip.

I have had quite a few conversations with parents about their child's progress in relation to their reports. What I would suggest is that if you have any queries surrounding these reports that you contact either the class teacher directly or myself. Our emails can all be found on the school website or edulink.

As always if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact academic mentors or myself (fryan@rodingvalley.net)
