Our Mission The Williams Education Fund generates financial support for all University of Kansas student-athletes with a responsibility to facilitate, promote, and enhance academic and athletic experiences.
Our History The Williams Education Fund was originally founded as the Outland Club by Dick, Skipper and Odd Williams in 1949. In 1973, the Outland Club became known as the Williams Education Fund to honor the Williams family for its commitment to Kansas Athletics.

NEW IN 2018
The Williams Education Fund is adding one level this year. We will now have an Olympian level at $18,000. In 2018, we will reseat all venues with the exception of football. As we anticipate a reseat in 2019 due to the construction timeline, we will be offering the Same As Last Year option to all active Williams Education Fund members who are football season ticket holders for the 2018 football season. In order to qualify for your same seats as last year, simply maintain or increase your Williams Education Fund membership level, as well as maintain your ticket quantity.

ANDREA WILLIS
I am so appreciative of coach Jamie Bermel and the Williams Education Fund for giving me this opportunity to compete at the University of Kansas. At first, I wasn’t sure if this was the best place for me to be coming from the other side of the world. But now, with Coach Bermel and the support you get from the Jayhawk family, there is no place I would trade it for in the world. The Big 12 Conference is the most competitive throughout the United States and to get the opportunity to represent Kansas is a true honor.
“
Competing has always been exciting for me, but competing as a Jayhawk brings about emotions I have never felt in my life. When I put on the Kansas uniform for the first time, my heart started pounding, and I got goosebumps. In that moment I knew I was meant to be a Jayhawk, and I would pour my heart and soul into this program. Every day I wake up, I say what I am thankful for, and having the opportunity to compete for this University is always one of those things. If it were not for my scholarship and the Williams Fund, there is no possible way that I would be competing as a Jayhawk. I cannot say thank you enough to the people who made this unbelievable opportunity become a reality for me! Thank you and Rock Chalk!

My time at Kansas has given me some of the greatest moments of my life. When I first got here as a freshman, I noticed how up-to-date and clean our facilities are. Student-athletes from each sport have a variety of needs and our facilities meet those needs very well. The generosity of our donors supporting upkeep of facilities also helps us continue to compete at the highest level for years to come. I’m so excited for the new volleyball arena (in 2019) because it will be able to fit more people, but still keep that intimate environment we love about our fan base. Thank you!

Impermissible Extra Benefits include, but are not limited to, free or discounted meals, services, transportation and any financial assistance. Please contact the Compliance department prior to providing any gift or benefit to a student-athlete.

Viewing a prospect’s game on your own initiative
Assist with the actual evaluation of talent at the direction of the coaching staff
