Tuition fees

90

To study for an undergraduate degree with us, you will need to pay tuition fees for your course. How much you pay will depend on whether you are a UK and EU student or an international (non-EU) student. Tuition fees are charged for each year of your course. Please visit our course pages for detailed tuition fee information. yorksj.ac.uk/our-courses If you are from the UK or EU and studying for your first degree or other Higher Education course you will not need to pay anything while you study. Graduates will start to make contributions to the repayment of their tuition costs only when they are earning above a minimum threshold.

Paying your tuition fees To pay for your studies you may be able to take out a loan from a student finance provider such as Student Finance England. The student finance provider will pay your tuition fees directly to the university at the start of each year. To find out more about applying for student finance, visit: yorksj.ac.uk/funding

Placement fees The majority of our undergraduate BA or BSc Honours courses include the option to take a placement year, giving you valuable work experience alongside your degree (see page 22). If you choose to take this opportunity your fee for the year will be reduced to 15% of the usual annual fee.
