Who are we?
TV Net Media Group is a company with more than 25 years of experience in media. We began operations in Florida in 2000 and
launched La Guía del Golfo Magazine. In 2002, 7DÍAS newspaper was launched in Sarasota County and then expanded operations to the whole Tampa Bay area. In 2004,TNMG launched La Guía Tampa Bay. So far, the company is the most important Hispanic publishing company in the area. Its publications have received numerous awards: La Guia was honored 4 times as Best Spanish Language Magazine by the NAHP, it received first place awards in design and editorial columns, 7 DíAS received three golden category José Martí Publishing Awards in 2007, and it was named Most Improved Publication in 2005. TVNMG has been named Business of the Year in 2002, and the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce awarded us the Minority Business of the year award in 2007. Publisher Luis Eduardo Barón has been recognized as a leader in the Hispanic community, named one of the most powerful people in Sarasota by Sarasota Magazine, named one of the Top five Visionarios in the country by Ford Motor and AOL Latino, and awarded entrepreneur of the year in 2001 by Gulf Coast Latin Chamber of Commerce. Its web sites, revistalaguia.com and 7dias.us are the most visited web sites in Spanish in the area. TVNMG also produces La Guía TV, the only show in Spanish in Sarasota county. 7DÍAS and La Guía magazine are both audited publications by CAC, are members of the National Association of Hispanic Publications, and belong to the local chambers of commerce. We are deeply involved with the community, and for that, 7DíAS is considered “the voice of the community”. Quality and Responsibility are the main values of our company.
