“Paquete número 3”, “Piedra, papel o tijera”, “Cyrano

Fernández”, entre otras; y diferentes series como

“Distrito Salvaje 2” y “Bolívar” (interpretando al General José Antonio Páez).

Leonidas Urbina ha vivido en los últimos años, en Colombia,

Perú, Ecuador, y actualmente reside en México.

¿Cómo logras tener tanta versatilidad al momento de interpretar un personaje?

Busco la esencia del ser como intérprete, como actor. Si buscamos ser otra persona, hay que tener un cambio, si el rostro de uno no puede cambiar, siempre va a ser el mismo, pero la energía, el ritmo, la sonrisa, la mirada, el

pensamiento es diferente al de uno, eso da otro tiempo, otro ritmo, otra sensación, me gusta comprometerme con eso.

¿Cómo fue la experiencia de interpretar a un personaje histórico como lo es el General José Antonio Páez en la serie “Bolívar”?

Páez me dio a entender lo que era un hombre luchador

HAY QUE SEGUIR TRABAJANDO, PREPARANDOSE, ESTUDIANDO, CREYENDO EN LO QUE UNO HACE

y, la misma sociedad lo hizo entender de que estaba hecho en realidad. Para mí fue una experiencia maravillosa poder interpretar a este personaje que nunca me imaginé. Yo siempre he dicho que los personajes lo escogen a uno. Ultimas participaciones Las últimas producciones en

las que he participado son “El día de mi suerte”, serie hecha en Perú donde actuó como antagonista. Estoy participando en otra que se está estrenando en YouTube, se llama “El Dorado Serie”, es de época, es de la conquista, de humor negro y de ¡libre acceso!

Leonidas Urbina nos deja el siguiente mensaje

Hay que prepararse mucho para llegar a donde se quiere, todo esto es como un videojuego, donde te encuentras con muchos obstáculos; pero para pasar por esos obstáculos hay que prepararse, hay que adelantarse un poquito antes de llegar a la meta. No hay que contar lo que uno hace, siempre hay que reservárselo,

ir preparándose para poder sorprender. El mundo está esperando que uno lo sorprenda. Por ello, hay que seguir trabajando, preparándose, estudiando, creyendo en lo que uno hace. Nunca hay que dejar de estudiar (…), no hay excusas, para sentirnos vivos, para salir de la zona de confort y eso cuesta mucho pero si uno no se enfrenta, nunca va a saber como es. Siempre hay un camino que está esperando, no hay que verlo de lejos, hay que meterse en ese camino y seguir, y seguir, y seguir (…) siempre siendo una persona noble y agradecida con la vida. How do you manage to have so much versatility when playing a character?

I look for the essence of being as a performer, as an actor. If we seek to be another person, we must have a change, if one's face cannot change, it will always be the same, but the energy, the rhythm,

How was the experience of playing a historical character such as General José Antonio Páez in the series “Bolívar”?

Páez made me understand the value of a fighting man. I was able to see how society itself made him because he was a real person living during that time period. It was a wonderful experience to be able to play this character that I never imagined. I've always said that the characters choose you. Latest productions The last productions in which I have participated are "The day of my luck", a series made in Peru where I act in the role of the antagonist. I'm participating in another one that is premiering on YouTube, it's called “El Dorado Series”, it's from another historical period, it takes place during the conquest, with black humor, and hey!
