RESOLUTION-1:50 DETAILED SECTION MODEL

The detailed roof shows the different components that were analyzed in the previous spread. Making the model made it easy for me to understand my building even more in a deeper level.

Water fall-Eternal Mihrab

These images show the appropriate scale associated with the model. This runs down to both levels and shows the connection between the ground floor and underground through the eternal Mihrab as a connection.

RESOLUTION-1:100 FINAL MODEL

I took the opportunity to make the entire building to be able to visualize all the Spaces that are of importance in within my building. I focalize on certain internal spaces to highlighty their importance and value to the buiding. This Internal main space photograph shows the shadows created once light casts on the Eternal Mihrab (Water wall). Mihrab is what muslims refer to as the wall that faces the mecca. This wall is usually decorative by a door but in this case,I only took reference from the direction of the mecca. The focus on this image is that of the water that enhances the geometry of the Geomic Davenport even more.

RESOLUTION-PLAN VIEW OF CLEANSING SOUL RITUAL

RESOLUTION-SEAMLESS ENTRANCE The Jounrey through the building is the most important part. Making a physical model of all the important internal spaces was crucial, hence why each important connection space holds the geometric pattern of my plan. The Cleansing Soul Ritual is not just an ordinary bathroom or spa but rather a place where you can purify and detoxify your body from all the bad aura. This rebirth sends you off to the geometric pattern that either allows you to go back to the main hall and pray with the public, go out to the courtyard or go down to the individual spaces. In some respect, this specific area is the heart of the building located fairely in the center. Additionally, This part of the building in particular highlight the Levi Theater structure from 2.1. The shape that resulted was indeed very similar. Geometry was the key to both my designs throughout the year. I based the design upon the site’s geometry.

The Seamless Entrance Is the first focal point that is apparent after going through the Soul Cleansing Ritual. This part of the building is comprised of a fountain that is designed in a geometric pattern that follows the flow of the rest of the building. It is the space where Privacy stil has not begun. Group areas and Library are Located here.

RESOLUTION-PERSEPTIVE AXIS

This image shows the beginning of the Perseptive Axis, one that is connected to the ground floor through the Eternal Mihrab. From here, Privacy begins, It becomes an area of reflection and soul searshing method in an intimate individualistic manner.

This marks the end of the Perseptive Axis as it reashes the end of the geometric pattern heading north. The direction to go back to the beginning point of the Perceptive Axis shifts towards east (The direction of the Mecca).

RESOLUTION-THE COURTYARD The Courtyard has become a symbol for repetetive openings, ones that resebles islamis architectural arches. The continuous pattern creates an intriguing depth in within that courtyard, ones that outlines the interior to it’s maximum.

RESOLUTION-SKYLIGHT

This roof view demonstrates the change in roof design in comparison to 2.2. The allignment of these roof skylights also follow the geometry of the Courtyard direction, and aim to give the same afffect of repetiveness as shown in my 2.1 pavillion.
