La Perla Thalassotherapy is a genuine heir of the belle époque of San Sebastian. More than a century ago, Queen Maria Cristina established the royal summer house in this city. Seabaths were considered to be a fine pleasure by holidaymakers, a pleasure that combined therapy, relax and wellness. La Perla Spa was inaugurated in La Concha beach, which had been awarded the title of “Royal Beach”. The initial building was made of wood, but it was rebuilt in 1912. The new seawater pool is housed in a stand-alone facility which is set apart from the Thalassotherapy Centre, and can be accessed directly from the Paseo de La Concha. There is a spacious and warm viewing room, for exclusive use of the children’s companions.
The additional flotation provided by seawater makes children feel safer and enjoy the experience better, thanks to which they learn more quickly. Moreover, seawater has antibiotic properties and stimulates the immune system. It nourishes, remineralises and tones the body

INFORMATION USEFUL INFORMATION FORT thalasso FitnesS circuit RESERVATIONS • On weekends and bank holidays, we strongly advise you to book your appointment over the phone or at reception. • Groups of 20 people or more: to ensure admission to the centre, you should book your appointment in advance, by contacting our Sales Department EQUIPMENT REQUIRED • Bathing Suit (or bikini), swimming cap and towel; we sell swimming suits and caps and rent towels. • Fabric cap: 3.00€ / Silicone cap:: 6.20€ / Towel hire: 1.20€ / Bathrobe hire: 2.70€ • Flip-flops may only be used in changing rooms and showers; the Thalasso Fitness Circuit must be done barefoot. If necessary, swimming socks can be used. You can buy them at reception. • The lockers for storing personal belongings are operated with an access card (to be returned once the session is over). We do not accept liability for any loss, theft or damage to belongings which have not been placed in lockers. CHILDREN • The minimum age of admission to the circuit is 6 years old. • Children under the age of 16, must be accompanied by an adult. Parents or guardians take full responsibility for any children they bring to the centre. • Children should not spend longer than one hour in the water, and those under 14 are not allowed to use the saunas, steam baths or jacuzzis. TIMETABLE - DURATION • The timetable for the Thalasso Fitness Circuit is between 8 am and 9.40 pm. • Your session begins when you enter through the access gate and ends when you leave through it. Excess time will be charged with 2 € for every 20 minutes. • Open everyday, except 25th December and 1st January. The centre will be closed for 15 days per year for technical checks. COMMENTS • Accidents caused by slipping are responsability of the customer. To avoid this, please walk carefully, as the floor is wet. If you feel unsafe, use the handrails in the facilities to enter and exit the baths. • La Perla is a centre for relaxation and fitness. Therefore, members are prohibited from making noise, running around the centre or playing in the pools. • The maximum depth in the pools is 1.39 M; if you are unable to swim, you must notify a member of the centre’s management. • There will be a pool monitor present to help you, should you have any needs or doubts. • Members must obey the rules and regulations of the centre.These are displayed in the entrance to the centre. • The centre reserves the right to refuse admission.

RULES AND REGULATIONS The centre has a set of rules and regulations by which all members must abide. Information on these is available at reception. Should there be any breach of these rules and regulations, La Perla reserves the right to refuse admission. RESERVATIONS • It is advisable to book in advance and arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. In order to confirm your booking, you will be required to give your credit card number. • Timetables for treatments are to be respected. If a client does not attend the appointment or arrives late, treatments which have been missed or cut short must still be paid in full and cannot be postponed to a later date. CANCELLATIONS • We kindly request members to notify any cancellation as soon as possible. • If the cancellation takes place within 24 hours of the appointment, the session must be paid for. The amount will be charged in the credit card provided. EXPIRY • All vouchers and tokens expire after three years.
