1. The level of the students you are explaining it. The level of the students is second of primary. 2. Why you decided that unit We decided that unit because that vocabulary is useful in our daily life. 3. What you are doing to explain it. We are going to prepare a big project with five activities. In these activities the groups will compete for becoming the best chef over the world. The prize of the winner will be an apron for all the members of the group. For this project the teacher will divide the class in small groups of 5-6 members approximately. 4. How you would explain it. PROVE 1. WITHOUT WORDS Objective: Learn the kitchen skills Vocabulary: Chop: picar Slice: gratinar Grate: rallar Bake: cocer Fry: freír Roast: tostar Boil: hervir Mix: mezclar Stir: remover Method: We will divide the class in the small groups. We will give a paper with one of the kitchen skills to each group. One of the group have to represent this skill and the rest of the group have to guess it. If they guess it the will have a mini point. The group with more mini points will obtain the first chef star.

PROVE 2. BINGO Objective: Learn the kitchenware Vocabulary: Plate. Plato llano Bowl. Bol Saucer. Plato hondo Dish. Plato de postre Kettle. Calentador de agua Teapot. Tetera Knife. Cuchillo Spoon. Cuchara Fork. Tenedor Glass. Vaso Method: Individually we will give them a paper with a bingo. The teacher will say the kitchenware vocabulary and they will cross out these words. The first in crossing out all the words of his bingo, will have a mini point. The group with more mini points will obtain the second mini point. PROVE 3. MEMORY Objective: Lear the parts of the kitchen Vocabulary: Grill. Parrilla Cooker. Fuegos Freezer. Congelador Fridge. Nevera Kitchen. Cocina Oven. Horno Method: In big group the teacher will project a big memory with the pictures of the parts of the kitchen on the whiteboard. Individually, all the students will choose a pair. If the pair is correct, the child will obtain a mini point. The group with more mini point will have the third chef star.

PROVE 4. SUPERMARKET Objective: Learn the aliments of the supermarket Vocabulary:

Method: The teacher will divide the class in the small groups. The teacher will be the chef and will have the recipes. The chef will choose one member of each group for being the cookers. The chef will give them a recipe and they will go to the supermarket to have their bags full of the points of their recipe. Then, the chef will check the ingredients of each bag. The group will be winning mini points. The group with more mini points will obtain the fourth chef star.

PROVE 5. THE FINAL TEST Objective: Make sure that the students have learned all the vocabulary from this unit. Method: For doing this revision, we are going to prepare a kahoot with some questions about this unit. The class will be divided in the small groups. The group that win the Kahoot will obtain the final chef star. THE CHEF APRON The teacher will give to the winners the chef apron and a certificate and all together will have a brunch.
