True Crime Case: Jack the Ripper

Jack the Ripper was an unidentified serial killer active in the impoverished Whitechapel district of London, England, in 1888. In both criminal case files and the contemporaneous journalistic accounts, the killer was called the Whitechapel Murderer and Leather Apron.

The Laurel County Public Library and the Laurel County School System have teamed up once again to host a huge college fair! Representatives from colleges, universities, as well as recruiters from the military, will be here from across the Commonwealth to help your future goals become a reality.

KHEAA Representative, Joplin Rice, will be here to assist in finding various ways students can receive money to help pay for school. At 6pm there will be a special presentation where Joplin will answer any lingering questions students and parents may have.
