The Visual Analysis Group continue to work with Teachers,Coachesand Physical Education Advisors to identify where and how Visual Analysis can best be used for immediate benefit in education. There are severalprogrammesbeing sold in the education sector which differ in price, functionality and easeof use.

Analyse& Evaluate UsingFocusX2lMotionCoach youcansimply analysea pupils performanceand evaluateit againsta standardmodel or gradedexample. Thesereport templatescan include a written evaluation using MS/Word along with a verbal commentaryto help the pupil.

The major problem facing many Teachersand Coachesis how to incorporate thesepowerful teaching aids into their lessons. Our aim therefore is to help schoolsobtain the maximum advantage from this powerful and exciting opportunity as well as ensuring that there is a cost effective way in which pupils can have accessto this facility. Two key areaswere clearly identified where it was felt that visual analysis would be of considerablevalue to both teachersand pupils

Assessmenf Everypupilis regularlyassessed to ensure that

A Gross Curriculum TeachingAid Although in its initial introduction to education visual analysiswas seenas a teaching aid specifically for physical educationit is now clearly recognisedas a tool that can benefit a great many other areasincluding

individual developmentis being achieved.

Look at the way 15*

teg is bentso

The main difference between Sarah and our professionalplayer is that the Pro has got herself into a much stronger position to return the ball. She has done this by preparing early, getting herself behind the incoming ball and then moving forward onto the baii as she makes the return shot. Lets look at some of the object tools and how they differ between the 2 players 1. Both players are looking at the ball as they make contact - Good 2. Look how much earlier and lower our Pro player is at contact point. This will help her createmore topspin by driving her legs up through the shot 3. Sarah's body weight is travelling acrossthe court rather than into the rettrn shot. This will mean that she has to work very hard to achieve a good return 4. Sarah's none playing hand is very close to her body which is effecting her balance as she strikes the ball Points to work on
