Core Maths Core Maths allows you to retain, expand and develop your knowledge and skills from GCSE, as well as giving you the opportunity to study and apply new Level 3 material. Core Maths will also enable you to develop the mathematical, quantitative and statistical skills to be better prepared for work, life and further study. Studying this qualification develops logical and reasoning skills that are widely respected. The entry criteria for this subject includes grade 9-4 in GCSE mathematics.
