Bring blankets and chairs to sit on while enjoying the featured film, "Playing with Fire," rated PG. The event will be hosted on the large event field behind the recreation center. Playing With Fire-When straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson and his elite team of firefighters come to the rescue of three siblings, they quickly realize that no amount of training could prepare them for their most challenging job yet - babysitting. As their lives, jobs and depot get turned upside down, the three men soon learn that children - much like fires - are wild and unpredictable. 239-369-1521 Almost, Maine Alliance for the Arts 10091 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers Performances are November 19, 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. and November 20 at 2 p.m.
A woman carries her heart, broken into 19 pieces, in a small paper bag. A man shrinks to half his former size, after losing hope in love. A couple keep the love they have given each other in large red bags, or compress the mass into the size of a diamond. These playful and surreal experiences are commonplace in the world of John Cariani’s Almost, Maine, where on one deeply cold and magical Midwinter Night, relationships end, begin, or change beyond recognition, as strangers become friends, friends become lovers, and lovers turn into strangers. Almost, Maine is a series of loosely connected tales about love, each with a compelling couple at its center, each with its own touch of sorcery. 239-939-2787 Family Glow Party Sky Zone Trampoline Park 14181 S Tamiami Trail, Fort Myers Friday & Saturday • 7 p.m.

Lee Health announces expansion plans in Cape Coral Lee Health is investing nearly $150 million to expand Cape Coral Hospital and bring additional health care services to the City of Cape Coral. At their Aug. 26 meeting, the Lee Health Board of Directors approved plans to expand the intensive care unit (ICU) at Cape Hospital, add additional treatment bays in the Emergency Department and purchase a 22.7-acre parcel of land in the city. Other new projects are also underway. The 12-bed expansion of the ICU increases the number of available beds from 22 to 34. The expansion of the emergency department creates six additional treatment bays and a 12-bed observation unit, which allows patients to be monitored for up to 24 hours without being admitted to the hospital. Lee Health anticipates using the newly acquired land in the city to build an innovative health care facility similar to Lee Health Coconut Point, which opened in Estero in December of 2018. Lee Health Coconut Point offers a combination of physi-

Lee Health plans to bring the same convenience to its new facility in Cape Coral. In addition to the planned expansions, Cape Coral Hospital is poised to become a teaching hospital as Lee Health will soon launch its internal medicine residency program at Cape Coral Hospital. This program, in partnership with the Florida State University College of Medicine, will provide top-tier training and bring more highly-skilled doctors to our area. The Lee Health Board of Directors also approved a plan to construct a new building on the southeast corner of Palm Tree Boulevard and Cape Coral Parkway. Known as Bimini Basin, this project will include a large medical office footprint and apartment units located on top of the medical space. This project brings access to high-quality medical care to an area of Cape Coral that is currently underserved. Family News
