2003

Carolyn Boatsman

After graduating from Texas A&M University, Carolyn and her husband, Kyle, moved to Colorado Springs. Carolyn is starting a master’s program in divination at Fuller Seminary. The couple have two children (one a newborn).

Gallen Pierce-Lackey

Gallen and his wife, Cassi, followed God’s calling to Eugene, Oregon, to open a salon and work with their church. Gallen graduated from YWAM Denver and has spent time as a missionary, artist, and musician. He and Cassi have two children.

2004

Nathan Neufang

Nathan is pursuing a doctorate at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and will begin his second dissertation in January. He currently serves as the executive teaching pastor at Hebron Baptist Church, in Dacula, Georgia. He and his wife, Marianne, have two sons. 2006

Benjamin Neufang

Ben earned his undergraduate degree in zoology. After finishing veterinary school, in Auburn, Alabama, Ben and his wife, Lisa, moved to Florida. He is working toward his veterinary technician specialist certification in dentistry, which will enable him to teach at local hospitals and lecture around the country. He also holds a B.S. in Zoology.

Stephanie (Cox) Turner

In June, Stephanie was promoted to director of targeted marketing at The Michaels Companies. She leads multiple teams that oversee customer-facing efforts. She and her husband, Kyle, welcomed their first child, Charlotte Marie, in September.

2008

Kylie (Rhodes) Choisnet

After graduating from Baylor with a degree in elementary education, Kylie married Douglas. She is a stay-at-home mom and loves spending time with their two young children, Carter and newborn Bennett.

David Fawthrop

David earned his master’s in educational leadership at the University of North Texas. He teaches in the Prosper Independent School District. He and his wife, Miranda, have two children.

Melissa Mock-Wagoner

Melissa earned her master’s degree in learning analytics at Columbia. She is a data scientist at Spotify and recently married Pete Wagoner. The couple look forward to celebrating their marriage post-COVID-19. 2009

Alexandra (Drago) Frater

Alex graduated from Richland Community College and is a professional voice actor part time. She and her husband, Christopher, live in Allen with their two children.

Katie Rial

Katie earned her master’s in clinical rehabilitation counseling from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is now a doctoral intern at UT Southwestern.

Sharon Soh

Sharon graduated from Baylor with a master’s in social work and is a mental health clinician in the Dallas Independent School District. During the past year, she managed a homeless shelter and has worked as an adjunct professor at UTA. She will be getting married in December. 2010

Patricia (Bush) Orfanos

Patricia graduated from Texas Christian University’s nursing school and completed her graduate degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center (San Antonio) in August 2018. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner. Patricia and her husband, Athanasi, are expecting their first child

in October.

Ally Maas

Ally has a bachelor’s in hospitality management and communications from the University of North Texas. She was recently promoted to marketing director at AEG Presents, in charge of the Southwest territory, and handled the launch of the Rolling Stones tour and the Elton John tour.

2011

Ben Trotter

Ben earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing at Dallas Baptist University. He is as an account manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield. He and his wife have two daughters, Sally and Riley.

Danielle (Slyman) Bjorkman

Danielle has been working as a labor and delivery nurse for the last five years. She and her husband, Mark, are celebrating four years of marriage this November and expecting their first child, a girl, in January. The couple live in Fort Worth.

Marta (Venegas) Flores

Marta earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary/early childhood education and a master’s in educational leadership, both from Oklahoma Baptist University. She is a fourth-grade teacher in the Little Elm Independent School District. Marta and her husband, Arturo, welcomed their first child, Thiago, in December. 2012

Declan Kirk

Declan earned his medical degree from Texas Tech and is now an ophthalmology resident in Lubbock. He and wife, Aubrey (Aubrey Allison ’15) have a son, Miles, who was born this summer.

Hannah (Watts) Barley

Hannah graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in elementary education. She teaches kindergarten in the Coppell Independent School District. Hannah and her husband, Garrett, are pursuing their master’s degrees in educational leadership and administration from the University of North Texas.

Michael Zarro

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in history and his master’s in arts and teaching, both from the University of Arkansas. He and his wife, Sami, live in St. Louis, where he teaches middle school history and coaches football in the Kirkwood School District. 2013

Peyton Smith

Peyton graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (management/ marketing). He is a business operations manager for JPMorgan Chase.

Carolyn Tang

Carolyn holds a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science from Baylor. She works for At Home as a sourcing and product-design assistant manager.

2014

Kristin Payne

Kristin graduated from Southern Methodist University with a major in markets and culture and a minor in sociology (nonprofits). She lives in Frisco.

Blaine Petty

Blaine earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech, where he also met his fiancée. The couple are busy planning their October wedding. Blaine is a content specialist at Optimal Blue.

Maddie Sepcic

Maddie graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in logistics/ supply chain management. After working in the industry, she founded Cabo Couture, a swim/activewear company. Maddie is a new homeowner in Frisco.

Lauren Whitney

Lauren received her master’s in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M. She has accepted a job offer from Medtronic, in Irvine, California, a renowned medicaldevice corporation. She will be rooming with LCA alumna Brooke Barson.

2015

Thomas Dreger

Thomas graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in business administration. In his final semester, he completed a study-abroad program in Florence. He now works as an enterprise automation consultant with Information Services Group.

Alexandra Lambring

Alexandra graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication. While at OSU, she interned for a law firm in New York. She is now studying at the University of Tulsa College of Law.

2016

Dylan Beams

Dylan graduated from SMU with a BS in biological sciences and a BA in psychology with a minor in business administration. He is now at UT Southwestern Medical School, pursuing his medical degree.

Megan Beck

Megan graduated from John Brown University with a degree in Christian ministries. She is a resident minister for Cross Church, in Springdale, Arkansas, and will be getting married in November.

Hayden Blake

Hayden earned his degree in public relations at the University of Oklahoma and is now a leadership consultant for Beta Upsilon Chi. He met his fiancée at OU, the couple are planning their wedding for March.

Candace Collier

Candace graduated from Belmont University with a degree in motion pictures. She has recently signed on to be an associate producer for season 2 of Vindication, a locally filmed show with a Christian worldview.

McKenzie Gardner

McKenzie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Dallas Baptist University and is now in a master’s program in professional counseling.

Andrew Liebert

Andrew holds a degree in power engineering technology from the Marine Maritime Academy. He is a field engineer, in South Dakota, for a construction company that builds wind turbines. 2017

Tyler Cox

Tyler is pursuing a degree in digital film and media at Baylor. He was recently accepted into the Baylor in New York program, through which students can intern in the film industry in New York City and live there for a semester. He will begin his internship this spring.

Sophie Pritzkau

Sophie is attending Oklahoma City University where she is studying acting with a minor in directing. She recently played the role of Desdemona in TheatreOCU’s Mainstage production of Woe Is Me!

Emily Watts

Emily is now a senior at Texas Christian University. She will be completing a degree in marketing with a specialization in consultative selling. She is involved in the Sales Program and is the lead salesdevelopment coach. She also serves at Fellowship Church, helping lead a young

adults/college connect group. 2018

Maycie Clemmons

Maycie is studying corporate communications, with a minor in business administration, at Baylor. She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, for which she has held leadership positions, and of Harris Creek Baptist Church.

Madi Bixler (’14) graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BS in supply chain management. She is a product specialist at Interstate Batteries and is pursuing her master’s at UTD.
