Another month passes and the cold weather is nearly over. What good rain we have had in the district, and all the Farmer’s said “Hallelujah”

In an endeavour to include the children of the community in the news letter, I have included some Mystery Objects on Page 41. Also in each issue, there will be a photo of a small dogs called “Harry”. See if you can find him.

I recently had an email from a 10 yo Boy from Grovedale Editorial and Advertising complimenting me on the Leigh Items submitted for inclusion in the News. He had read the issue on Leigh News should be clearly marked Anzac Day and enjoyed the article.

“For inclusion in the (month) Leigh He is writing his own Newspaper News” and in by the 25th day of and enjoys putting it together. What each month. a great thing for a 10 yo boy to be Advertisements should be marked doing.

AFL VICTORIA AND WORKSAFE GAME OF THE ROUND AT INVERLEIGH

Sunday 24th of July was a big day in Inverleigh, thanks to AFL Victoria and Worksafe choosing us as “game of the round”.

The day started with our Colts going down to a strong North Geelong team, with Jye McEwan playing well for Inverleigh.

Our Reserves had a good win with “Wizard” Harrison Lamond kicking 3 goals and Brendan Grenfell having a great game. Our Senior Team ground out a hard fought win against a determined Magpies Team.

Blake Hutchinson was awarded the AFL Victoria/ Worksafe best player on the ground.

Congratulations to Ryan Garrand who plays his 150th Game for Inverleigh. He has not missed a senior game all year and has kicked 17 goals so far. He also starred for the Raiders’ Interleague side, booting an early goal at Bungaree. Well done Rusty.

Special mention to Rick McEwan (Inverleigh Football Club President), Dana from Worksafe and Ladies and Gents from Inverleigh Bowls Club, who assisted the Footy and Netball Clubs on their special day.

GABY JOINS AUSTRALIAN MEDICAL STUDENTS ORCHESTRA

On the evening of Sunday the 31st of July 2016, ex Christian College student (Class of 2012), and current Monash medical student, Gaby Bolton, performed in her maiden performance with the Australian Medical Students Orchestra at the Australian National Academy of Music.

She was honoured to be one of a select 90 students accepted through audition from 15 universities from around Australia.

Those universities represented were: Monash University, Melbourne University, Adelaide University, University of New South Wales, Bond University, University of Newcastle, University of Western Australia, University of Queensland, University of Sydney, University of Tasmania and Deakin University to name a few. With many of Australian’s medical students also being musicians, it was a great honour to be selected in the top 90.

Gaby started learning to play violin in Geelong at the tender age of 5 years, and over the years has had some extraordinary teachers, culminating in Jacqui and Peter Edwards, violinists with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Currently in her third year of Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery, Gaby has spent the past two years playing with the Monash Medical Orchestra. She has also been privileged enough to have met and spent time with the famous Nigel Kennedy when he has visited our country to perform many times.

These 90 future doctors swapped their stethoscopes for their instruments to raise money for two very important charities via this performance, titled ‘Genesis’.

Proceeds and donations from the evening will contribute to providing educational and musical opportunities to disadvantaged members of the Afghan Society, through the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, in war torn, Kabul. The other beneficiary will be Very Special Kids, the paediatric hospice in Victoria.

They were led by cellist and conductor, Michael Dahlenburg, who has worked with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and is currently a core cellist with the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. This exciting program included Tchaikovsky’s famous Fifth Symphony, Rimsky Korsakov’s Capriccio Espagnol and Faure’s joyous Masques et Bermagasques.

SMOOTH SAILING-INVERLEIGH PIRATES (SHITBOX RALLY) At the end of the rally you could buy your car for $250 or auction it off with all proceeds going to Cancer. 108 of the 220 cars were auctioned – our car went for $150 .

Well we made it home safely after driving up to Mackay and back down to Hobart in 10 days. Our EL Falcon wagon didn’t miss a beat not even a flat tyre.

Overnight stops were at Blackall, Thargaminda, Cobar, Cootamundra, Dargo, Spirit of Tasmania and finished at Hobart (via Queenstown).

Overall the rally made 1.53 million dollars for the Cancer Foundation.

One entry from Perth raised over $32,000

We raised $8500 (great effort).

A few highlights of the trip –

•60mm of rain in 6hrs at Thargaminda, this closed all the tracks on our planed route to Tilpa and we detoured to Cobar. The Rotary club of Tilpa transported all our food for dinner breakfast and lunch (for about 500 people) 180 klms to Cobar Bowls Club great effort by all involved.

•A young married couple on there honeymoon driving a Hillman Hunter lasted 2 days - until their car blew up, not their marriage. The car went to a nearby wreckers where they bought another car and they continued the rally.

•Meeting a 91 year old barmaid (apparently the oldest in Australia) at the Tattersalls Inn just south of the N.S.W / QLD border.

•The outback pubs, the locals and their larrikin signs (too rough to print)

Boneseed: Chrysanthemoides monilifera ssp. monilifera (pictured above)

First recorded in Australia in 1852 and

was commonly cultivated in gardens. A major environmental weed in south-eastern Australia.

Widespread in winter rainfall areas. Not an agricultural problem as bushes are susceptible to trampling and are eaten by stock.

Description: Erect shrub to 3 m tall. Roots fibrous. Leaves hairless except when new.

Distinguishing features: Distinguished by erect habit; leaves mostly with toothed margins; flowers in heads that usually have 4–8petal-like ray florets; fruit globular, green, ripening black

and fleshy, 6–10 mm wide; woody (‘bony’) seed covering surrounding a single seed.

Dispersal: By animals passing the indigestible seeds.

The Friends met on Old Shelford Track to take part in the annual hunt for boneseed, this annual hunt has managed to keep Boneseed to a manageable level. If we hadn’t started to search and destroy this weed in 1991, the Inverleigh Nature Conservation Reserve would now be the Inverleigh Boneseed Reserve.

The last few years, most of the boneseed we’ve found are small, mainly found under trees spread by birds. This year we’ve found larger plants with buds, which we haven’t seen for the last few years, so perhaps the rain has caused the plants to flower, which if we’ve missed any will flower this year and cause more problems for years to come.

The original plant we found was a large old shrub almost a tree and it was the parent of a large number of weeds found over the years. This year we removed about 400 immature plants with a few larger plants. They were mainly in clumps under trees with scattered odd plants around the area. One was even found on the edge of Old Shelford Track.

HAYGARTH FAMILY REUNION

A recent gathering of decendants of John (Jack) Haygarth & Hilda Anderson went off well on Saturday 23rd July.

Three generations were represented with grandchildren headed by our present elder John Haygarth (son of Bill) welcoming 23 cousins & family reuniting at the Inverleigh Public Hall for lunch.

The visit to the cemetery to visit passed loved ones was wet & windy.

We are expecting a follow up reunion in 2017 will attract a larger gathering.

purchased and placed on the brick part of the floor ‘with chimneys of sufficient length to go through the roof’, that asphalt be placed on the floor in the space between the supper room and the ante-room for the storage of kerosene, eight new seats to be purchased for the hall and additional lamps to be purchased for the supper room.

Daunting! However, the Committee agreed to carry out all the recommendations.

Feeding my Passion for Passionfruit

One of my favourite fruits is the passionfruit. That tang is so distinctive and so delicious. It conjures up my first ever taste as a five year old, sitting beneath an enormous vine, armed with a knife and a teaspoon. My playmates, owners of the vine, considered such snacking to be of no great moment, but for me, a love affair had begun.

I just took a pause from writing this article to eat a passionfruit from our vine – superb. My vine looks nothing like the luxuriant fence covering my kinder friends and I played beneath in suburban Melbourne, where there were no frosts and water was plentiful. It does produce delicious fruit, but the road for the passionfruit enthusiast is a little rockier in our district, where the elements are less obliging.

You can grow passionfruit plants from seeds or you can purchase one grafted on to a different root stock. Select a variety suited to cooler regions, such as Nelly Kelly, but understand that you will have to provide frost protection if you experience even mild frosts.

Our vine is on a wire support on the west side of our metal shed. The shed holds some heat and also protects the vine from the morning sun, which can exacerbate frost damage when it heats up frosted cells too quickly. Other options would be to plant against water a tank or brick wall – both of which would act as a heat source on a cold night. A young plant could have a cover put on it but that option will not work once it reaches a good size.

Passionfruit plants fruit after 12 to 18 months, a little quicker for those planted in Spring, as opposed to those planted in Autumn. They are vigorous and can grow over trees and shrubs so they need a strong support, such as a fence or pergola, with something for the vine to twine on to. Tie the vine on for starters and do not prune until it reaches the height on your support. Then pinch out the top to promote side growths which you can train as framework. Future pruning is to clean out dead and diseased wood, Back fill the planting hole with a mix of compost and soil and try not to disturb the roots.

Water in well and cover the root area with organic mulch which will continue the rotting down and feeding process. The mulch should be extended as far as the vine extends, not just placed at the base of the plant.

Feed the plant along its length but don’t use anything too high in nitrogen as that would promote soft leaf growth which is more susceptible to insect attack and diseases.

MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR Cr Des Phelan

It certainly has been a cold winter! Late July brought an arctic blast, delivering snow to many areas of the Shire. As we enter the last month of winter, Council looks ahead to the warmer months and the important work coming up (and some we worked on during the colder months)!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR COMMUNITY GRANTS RECIPIENTS

On Tuesday 28 June 2016 Council resolved to allocate Community Grants to 47 organisations, to a total value of $144,966. From cubbies to carols, fridges to fencing, these grants empower community groups to deliver enormous value in their local area. With a return of $2.62 for every dollar granted

by Council, these projects will deliver an amazing benefit to Golden Plains’ communities. Successful applicants will complete their projects over the 2016/17 year. Congratulations to all the worthy recipients! Find out more on the news section of our website.

NEW LOOK FOR OUR GAZETTE AND WEBSITE

Residents recently told us that the Gazette and our website are key ways they get important information about what’s happening at Council. As such, we are pleased to launch our new website and new-look Gazette! A lot of work has gone into ensuring both of these provide relevant, timely information, in the way residents want to receive it. Check out our new website at goldenplainsdigital.com.au. It will sit on that site during the initial testing period, and in September the new website will replace the current website at goldenplains.vic.gov.au. Also make sure you look out for the new Gazette, hitting your mailbox from 1 August onwards. Don’t forget to tell us what you think by emailing us at enquiries@gplains.vic.gov.au.

CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF COMMUNITY PLANNING

Council is organising an event for the evening of Tuesday 16 August to celebrate 15 years of Community Planning in Golden Plains Shire. The event is being held to thank the many people who have contributed to the success and sustainability of the program, especially Community Coordinators. If you, or someone you know has been involved in the Community Planning Program in the past and would like to receive an invitation to the event please contact the Community Development Team Leader on 5220 7111.

SOCIAL ACTION IN GOLDEN PLAINS

In the June Council meeting, three important social actions were agreed by Council:

•Participate in ‘Journey to the G’: an event celebrating the remarkable achievement of Johnny Mullagh, Tom Wills and the Aboriginal Cricket Team touring party of 1866.

•Sign Age Friendly Victoria Declaration: we are one of the first municipalities in Victoria to formally sign the Age Friendly Victorian Declaration: Statement of support and partner endorsement.

•Join the Grampians ‘Communities of Respect & Equality’ Alliance: - a group which seeks to prevent violence against women and their children across the Golden Plains Shire.

CAR BOOT SALE A SUCCESS

The Victoria Park Committee of Management would like to thank all those who participated in the inaugural Car Boot Sale recently held in the Park. After a cold morning the weather became very pleasant and perfect for the event. Whilst the numbers of stall holders and the general public were slightly below the Committee’s expectations the event nevertheless was successful both from the point of view of its fundraising purpose and that of most of the stallholders.

President Carol Perrett said that the Committee was encouraged by the support it had received from the community. She particularly thanked those members of the Bellarine Harness for Pleasure Club who had assisted the Committee with the running of the event on the day, She said that the Committee had identified a number of areas where improvements could be made and that the result would mean that the event would become a regular event in the Park. She hoped that the Committee could continue to attract potential stallholders to the event so that the event could become an even bigger attraction. Dates for future Car Boot Sales would be determined at the next Committee meeting and these would be publicized as soon as possible to allow potential stallholders time to plan ahead.

At a recent meeting of the Committee a number of changes of office bearers were made. Narelle Bogle resigned as Treasurer but she remains on the Committee. Her place as Treasurer has been taken by Leanne Broad who relinquishes the role of Secretary. John Turnbull takes over from Leanne as Secretary. Carol Perrett continues as President. In addition, Robin Pearce who has been a mainstay of the Committee for many years has decided that the time to step aside has finally arrived and he has tendered his resignation. His contribution over the years to the wellbeing of Victoria Park is without comparison and his knowledge and commitment will be sorely missed. The Committee is holding a luncheon for Robin to thank him for his services both to Victoria Park and to the Inverleigh community.

He was listed as a farmer on the corner allotment of the Bannockburn Road and the Hamilton Highway. Two almond trees still grace the front entrance off the Bannockburn Road.

LIONS CLUB NEWS

On June 15th representatives from the Meredith Lions Club were presented with a $30,000 grant from the Geelong Community Foundation to start the building of a new multi-stage playground at Pioneer Park.

The playspace will eventually cater for children from pre-school through to pre-teens.

The Lions Club have been working very hard with the Meredith Playgroup and Meredith Community Centre with the assistance of the Fund for Rural and Regional Renewal (F.R.R.R.) to provide an adventure playground to challenge and engage the imagination of the young people of the district, and to provide risk-taking opportunities in a safe and family oriented space.

Bentley’s Bladder Blues ‘Bentley’ is a big beautiful boy who presented to us as he was having trouble urinating. He was able to pass small volumes of urine, but his Mum had noticed he was straining whilst passing these little amounts. He was also trying to urinate quite frequently.

Orphan lambs may arise after the death of the ewe or due to abandonment or rejection especially by first time or maiden ewes and those with multiple lambs.

Raising orphen lambs by hand is often the best option.

Though survival will depend on many factors, having the right equipment and environment are essential for success.

A newborn lamb needs a warm, dry sheltered area.

Provide bedding in the form of straw or shredded newspaper that can be easily replaced when soiled.

In cold environments, provide the lamb with a heat lamp until it is able to maintian its own temperature.

Lambs require colostrum within the first 24 hours of life. It provides protective antibodies as well as energy.

Lambs that don’t receive colostrum usually have a higher death rate or become weak lambs which are very susceptible to disease and hypothermia.

Ideally ewe colostrum should be given so, if possible, catch a ewe and attempt to milk or suckle the lamb.

Newborn lambs require small and frequent meals, ideally six meals per day for the first three days.Small and weak lambs need a smaller volume more frequently. Most brands of milk replacer will have instructions for how to make up the mixture and how much

When Bentley arrived to see us, he was his happy normal self apart from the frequent attempts to urinate. There was no blood visible in his urine. On palpation of his bladder we found he had a moderate sized bladder and therefore it was possible that something was blocking his uretha. The urethra is the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside world.

An attempt was made to pass a catheter (hollow tube) up his urethra into the bladder.

This was firstly, to assess if there was an obstruction in the urethra and secondly, to obtain a urine sample for analysis. Alas, this attempt was unsuccessful as the catheter would not advance the full length of his urethra into his bladder.

Total obstruction of the urethra is an emergency. If urine cannot be expelled there is a risk the constantly filling bladder will fill to bursting point! Radiographs revealed Bentely had bladder stones made up of different sizes and most probably a small stone had become lodged in his urethra causing the blockage.

Bentley’s Radiographs What Causes Bladder Stones Bladder stones can form due to many different reasons ranging from: • Diet - food high in salts such as calcium and magnesium can allow crystals to form which can then go on to form stones.

• pH - if the pH of the urine is too high, this creates an environment that allows crystals to form and also bacteria to colonise which can also lead to crystal/ stone formation.

• Urinary Tract Infection - bacteria can allow formation of crystals/stones.

Some bacteria produce by-products which alter the bladder environment.

• Not drinking enough water/urine retention-means the bladder is not voided as regularly allowing crystals (if present) to settle and adhere together.

• Obesity - being overweight lowers the immune system and may mean a higher intake of salt rich foods.

• Stress-also lowers the immune system and may influence behaviours such as normal urination and water intake.

• Medications-can alter the bladder/urinary tract environment.

• Genetic Factors-the genes responsible for the breakdown of waste products are defective.

Treatment

Some stones are able to be medically treated via special diets and medications that help dissolve the stones and restore the bladder environment to normal.

Bentley, however, needed urgent attention as a stone blocking his urethra could end in disaster.

Bentley had a procedure called ‘Urohydropropulsion”. Under general anaesthetic, water is pushed via the urinary catheter up the urethra. This pushes the blocking stone back into the bladder. The stones are then surgically removed from the bladder to prevent recurrence.

Because the stones can be comprised of a variety of different minerals/salts, they were sent away for analysis at the laboratory.

To prevent further recurrence Bentley has begun a special diet to prevent crystal and stone formation and requires regular analysis of his urine to ensure no problems are emerging.

Dental Month August is Pet Dental Health Month. Proper dental care can detect dental disease that not only affects the mouth, but can also lead to more serious health problems such as heart, lung, and kidney disease.

Good dental hygiene is just as important for pets as it is for humans.

to feed for the age of the lamb. Ensure the milk replacer is suitable for lambs. i.e: Shepherd, Palastart, Divetelact.

Milk replacements made for calves are NOT suitable for lambs.

You can start offering solid food from a few days of age.

Obtain a high quality starter lamb feed and only supply as much as will be consumed over the next 24 hours, to prevent the feed becoming contaminated with faeces.

You can wean the lamb off milk replacer at about four weeks of age, providing the lamb is eating some solid food, and is doing well.

Other Health Concerns:

It is recommended to vaccinate lambs at 4-8 weeks of age against clostridial diseases.

Scours are often caused by unhygienic feeding and living conditions, high or low environmental temperatures, or inappropriate feed.

Scouring causes dehydration which can be addressed with an electrolyte solution, e.g.

Lectade sachets or Vytrate.

This can be purchased from the clinic.

Sheep are flock animals and need at least one companion.

TEESDALE STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY OFFICIALLY OPENED

The Teesdale Children’s Centre was officially opened by Geoff Howard MP, Member for Buninyong, on Monday 25 July.

The newly renovated and extended centre provides necessary kindergarten and occasional care facilities, a consulting space for the Maternal and Child Health Service, community playgroups and community meeting space.

This project was jointly-funded by the State Government of Victoria ($240,000), Teesdale kindergarten committee ($80,000) and Golden Plains Shire Council ($112,000 plus in-kind project management).

Mayor, Cr Des Phelan, thanked the State Government for the funding and congratulated the Teesdale community for raising such a substantial sum.

“I would like to especially acknowledge the Teesdale Kindergarten Committee for its massive $80,000 contribution to the project – this is a fantastic effort from the Committee and a great community effort.”

“The Bannockburn Community Enterprise (through the Bendigo Bank) contributed $5,000 for a storage shed and I’d like to thank them as well.”

“This great team approach and hard work has resulted in the establishment of a best-practice children’s centre that will serve as a ‘one stop shop’ for the community.”

ON THE TEE AT INVERLEIGH

It has been a busy and exciting month at the club as we strive to build on our membership and increase participation within the club. Our 3 Mens Clinics were well attended by many aspiring golfers, all keen to learn the game from David & Vicky Thomas (Thomas School of Golf) who gave up their valuable time to help us out. These Clinics were made possible by the Victorian Golf Foundation, and we are very pleased that the Clinics have resulted in several new members.

A Family Fun Day will now be held on the 2nd Sunday of each month, where everyone is welcome to join in. All families and individuals are welcome, even if you have never played golf before, just come along and join in the fun. A BBQ lunch will be provided afterwards at no cost. The 1st of these Family days will be held on Sunday 14th August at 10 am.

The annual “Hand of Friendship” challenge between Inverleigh & Winchelsea was held on Saturday 16th July, with 34 players enjoying a beautiful

mild Winters Day. Congratulations to Winchelsea who were the victors by just 4 shots, but everyone enjoyed our beautiful course and hospitality. Recent rain and new growth, along with fertilising, spraying and a lot of hard work by our members has resulted in beautiful lush green fairways. In fact our course is in the best condition it has been for many years.

Our ladies recently held a Fundraising event at “Higheight” where Lisa Sarcevic and Helen Collins hosted a very enjoyable and successful night. Many ladies had never been to Higheight, and after being met with champagne and nibbles, were amazed the

array of beautiful homewares on offer. Several hundred dollars were raised for the club, and we thank Lisa & Helen for opening the store on a cold and wet night.

Our annual 4 person Ambrose was held on Sunday 24th July in cold and windy conditions, but the chilly weather didn’t stop a full field of players from competing. We are very grateful to “Cooinda Fine Wool” (Garth & Marg Allen) for their ongoing support of this event, which has become a very popular event on the District golfing calendar. Garth was a well loved and respected member of our club for many years until his passing in 2015, and the Allen family have very kindly pledged their ongoing support in memory of Garth. The Gross winners for 2016 were the team from Barwon Valley – Matt Kennedy, Geoff Kennedy, Jeff Crabbe and Kiall MacColl.

Nett winners were from Beeac – James Drayton, Dusty Drayton, Hendrik Worden and John Crabbe.

We now turn our attention to our Open Tournament, which is our major and final event for the year. This event is held over 3 days and attracts golfers from throughout the Geelong District. Friday 5th August is Ladies Day, Saturday 6th August is Mens Day and Sunday 7th August is Mens and Ladies 4BBB Stableford. Once again, we are extremely grateful to our Sponsors who support our club. Without them, there would be no tournament.

TEESDALE PRIMARY SCHOOL Welcome back for term 3

We hope that all families have enjoyed the term break and that students are ready for learning for term 3. This term there are a number of extra curriculum programs planned including the eSmart Cybersafety Parent Workshop on the evening of Thursday 18th August, the School Concert on the evening of Tuesday 13th September and the Sporting in Schools hockey clinics for Years 3-6.

We are also continuing our teaching staff pedagogical coaching program with Educational Consultant Vicki Renick to support our work to improve learning outcomes for all students. This work provides students with enhanced opportunities to understand what and why they are undertaking quality learning tasks and how to give and expect feedback about their learning.

Sporting in Schools extra curricula activity – Hockey The term 3 Sporting in Schools activity will be hockey. The Sporting in Schools clinics provide a wonderful opportunity for our students in Years 3-6 to participate in a free, one hour, four week sporting skill program. The clinics will be conducted on Mondays, 3.30-4.30 p.m. commencing in August.

Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden extra curricula activity program update We are very fortunate to have the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden accredited program to offer at Teesdale. The staff who work in the program, Deb Smith and Ashley Dewhurst, provide a great additional learning program.

This term’s Wednesday program has been rostered for Years 5 and 6. We are also utilising the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden activities as a theme for both our “Picasso Cow” art project and for our School Concert items. The garden activities greatly enhance our whole school program and it is well worth celebrating through our arts.

Working Bee Term 3 date

Term 3 Whole School Working Bee is planned for Sunday, 7th August, 9-11.00 a.m. Tasks will include clearing the area in readiness for the new sandpit and tidying the bird corridor area. All welcome.

Student Free Curriculum Day advanced notice – Friday 26th August

Term 3 Student Free Curriculum Day is planned for Friday 26th August. The day will focus on social competency development support for students.

eSmart – Community Engagement Program

As part of their commitment to support school communities in being safe, smart and responsible online, The Alannah and Madeline Foundation will be facilitating a parent seminar at SCHOOL on Thursday 18th August from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Facilitated by the experts in their eSmart Schools team, parents will be presented with all the latest trends and research about Cybersafety and online behaviours. Strategies and guidelines will be discussed that relate to safe, smart and responsible uses of technology in the home.

The eSmart Schools program is a cultural change initiative developed by the Foundation in consultation with academic and industry experts. eSmart aims to create positive, respectful and inclusive cultures that reduce bullying, cyber

bullying and increase Cybersafety.

Crazy Hair Day

If you visited Teesdale PS on the last day of last term, you would probably have thought that the students were having a bad hair day! Well you would be nearly right! It was in fact “Crazy Hair Day” and it was all for a good cause.

Teesdale PS students were encouraged to support the Epilepsy Foundation with a gold coin donation. The students and their families went to a great deal of effort to produce very creative and colourful hair designs. Even the teachers were caught up in the fun! We are pleased to announce that just over $200 was raised. Great effort everyone!

The PFA are currently organising gifts for the Father’s Day Stall and looking for donations of clean washed empty pasta jars. Please leave at the school office foyer.

Once again, our school is supporting the Geelong Food Winter Relief Toucan Appeal. Please give a can, or anything else you can, into the donation box at the school office foyer.
