ANNA MULLIS

New Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing

I am honored to serve as the new Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing at Lexington Catholic. My experience as Principal of Seton Catholic School, and administrator at Sts. Peter & Paul Regional Catholic School and Sayre School gives me unique insights that I hope will translate to expanding Lexington Catholic’s established footprint in our community.

Challenging times offer opportunity. I find it exciting that today’s world allows for us to try new things, and present ourselves to prospective families and the community in ways that we would never have tried or considered in the past. There is something freeing and inspiring about those sorts of limitless possibilities.

As you might imagine, this enrollment season is like no other. For the first time, the High School Placement Test (HSPT) is being administered online at our partner schools as a part of their regular school day for our incoming 9th grade students. This allows for a safe testing setting, for students to take the HSPT in their natural learning environment, for Lexington Catholic to deepen our ties with our partner schools, thus strengthening our existing close bonds and further strengthening the bridge of understanding and collaboration.

I am excited to share with you a new initiative we are adding – the Liberal Arts Institute for Excellence. This is a new addition to the Exemplar Scholars Program that has been successful in the Fine Arts and Math/Science/ Technology offering. The Liberal Arts Institute will seek students who desire a rigorous fouryear academic curriculum to develop critical thinking skills based in reading and writing. This area will concentrate on how a student sees our society, and how they can make it a better place, with an emphasis on our Catholic faith. The Liberal Arts Scholars will have the opportunity to engage with local professionals to help them on their journey. This will culminate with a Senior Project to showcase their skills.

The application window for the Liberal Arts Institute for Excellence, and all of our Exemplar Scholars Programs, is October 6-December 11. Once again, I am honored and humbled to serve you. Please reach out to me. No question is too big or too small.

Terry Quigley was honored this fall after becoming the all-time winningest coach in KHSAA Girls’ Soccer history with a record of 435-194-34. He capped off this season, his 29th, by reaching his 9th state championship game where his girls finished runner-up. He has been instrumental in the growth of girls’ soccer in Kentucky. He is the first to tell you his accomplishments are not because of him, but the countless girls he has coached in his 29 years as head coach. His impact was evident by the number of alumnae who came to the celebration in honor of his achievement.
