Knights Step Up to the Challenge

Thank you to everyone who participated in our uKnight to Serve Challenge. We raised over $122,000 in 8 weeks! Net proceeds from the challenge will be approximately $115,000, helping to replace the funds raised through 2019 Hoagie Sales. Additionally, we gained 259 donors to the uKnight Fund over the prior year. While we did not achieve the 100% participation we hoped for, under the current circumstances we are so pleased.

We appreciate the many businesses that provided incentive giveaway items. Along with dress down themed days, and cookies from our cafeteria staff, these lifted our spirits. The foundation for success in all private secondary schools is a robust annual fund. Our uKnight Fund provides resources needed for academic programming, student services, and the tuition assistance so many families rely on. This challenge kicked off our efforts to raise $465,000 through June 30, 2021.

Everyone’s participation allowed the school to donate 5% of the proceeds to support the Catholic Action Center, almost $5,000. We are glad to be able to support so much through the uKnight to Serve Challenge.
