Extracting basic shapes from the plan view of site surronding environemnt based on the idea that extending the existing part of the school instead of adding something completely new into the school. It creats strong connections between two parts and make the new development less stand out but blend into the surronding envirornments.
Resonding to the project brief, also according to the features of selected shapes, the project could be directly cut by the bourndaries and become seperate individual elements as the buidling outlines.
Adjust each outline and rotate the elements according to the site enviroenments or human factors that may influence on the fuctions of the buidlings. Final forms and positions follow the proposed functions.

Addi tiona l Pav emen ts Connecting the Existing Sc hool and New Developments
The project site is bounded at the east south of the whole school site, which has limited the major direction of human flow from the bottom corner to the centre of the existing school. An idea of throughtout view point has been applied to the corner. It creates a complete but not conprehensive introduction of the project. People can see throught all four departments but only the major pathways in them. More activities and spaces are waiting to be explored by entering the Basic Moments.
Royal Parade
The shapes extracted from the existing school could become a unity for which the new development would origin from the basic shape ---- rectangular.

Afternoon UNITY
ASSEMBLE
Morning The school gate is located on the Stroy Street while the new developments are near the Royal Parade. The additional pavements added are for designed connections between the puclic and student group. For the reason of maintaining the ownship for the school, the pavements are for pedestrains and bicycles only. It reduces the distance for peopel to reach the new developed buidlings as well as reduces the flow of outsiders of the school.
The program strategy is represented by the color codes. Color palette shown above have two direction, horizontal & vertical. The horizontal is for four major departments, General Learning Spaces, Sports Stadium, Renaissance Centre and General Entrance. The veritical direction is representing the assumed frequency of people occupation. Bold white lines are for major pathways and directions designed.

The project is positioned at the south edge of the school, which makes the north face of the Basic Moments become the source of natural sunlights. Among the four major departments, sports stadium as the most passionate and welcome space is designed to locate in the middle of the project in order to receive the strongest sunlight during the day. Moreover, the noon is ususally considered as the best time for a break. The sports stadium positioned in the middle of the buildings is playing a role of breaking the student groups and public groups.
Shows the vertical development of the buidling forms.
