From the Manger to the Cross
God is faithful and keeps His promises. The coming of the Messiah was promised 800 years before the Christmas story took place and in most vivid terms, “The Lord himself will give you a sign: the virgin will conceive a child. She will give birth to a son and will call him, Emmanuel, God with us”. In Isaiah 9:6 we are told “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”
