New Collection Coordonné
Coordonné leap into 2021 with the launch of their new wallpaper collection: Maximalism.
The Barcelona brand in their wallpaper collections use a uniquely fictional touch to allow their stories to unfold; inviting us to travel to exciting new worlds. With Maximalism, we are taken on a voyage to exuberant French palaces with a distinctly Versailles influence.
The company’s 43 years of experience editing wallcoverings is evident, with its team of enthusiastic creatives using watercolour and oil brushstrokes, as well as digital designs to create a collection of elegant wallcoverings, the purpose of which is to make the walls of our home come to life. Maximalism is a collection that takes four separate stories from the elements of Rococo culture: ‘Satire’ with designs which show us an excess of culture with a touch of humour, as shown here in both the Lemur and Theatre designs.
Lemur – with its combining of elegant courtly palms, with playful monkey and classical coin motifs.
Theatre – with vignettes of Marie-Antoinette like characters with extraordinary, luxurious period headdresses.
‘Drama’ which uses theatrical elements to create bold and unusual wallpaper murals and ‘Collectionism’, which celebrates the love of collecting extravagant items from far off places to adorn your home, as shown here with Diderot and Statues designs.
Diderot – with its collection of exotic botanical specimens with frogs, caterpillars and butterflies hidden amongst the trailing leaves.
Statues – a collection of statues spread across a trellis and adorned in trailing vines.
And finally ‘Fantasy’ where anything goes and dream-like Statues
landscapes are the settings for your own tales.
Temple – create a romantic atmosphere with an oriental style pergola effect, and love birds in the canopy - perfect for a bedroom.
Whilst we offer on wallpaperdirect many of the murals from Coordonné we are currently only able to show them with a fixed size. However, if you want them made to measure, this may well be possible, so do contact us.
