The interchangeable, full-frame a7 II has been unveiled by Sony
Polecam and Antelope PICO have teamed up to produce an ultra slow-motion waterproof camera on the end of a remote head light-weight jib arm. The new product shoots and streams aquatic sports in HD resolution from above and below water level, ‘demonstrating new and spectacular shots and moves not seen before’, according to the brand. New Tethered Shooting Software from Fujifilm Fujifilm has released HS-V5 for Windows version 1.0 software that enables PC-tethered shooting for the X-T1 and X-T1 Graphite Silver Edition. This allows direct computer loading of captured images. The software features Camera Mode and PC mode to control shooting from either device. It also features Hyper-Utility 3, which is an image browser designed for easy image viewing, analysis, categorisation and organisation. The software will be on sale from January 2015, price is TBC

The a7 II is the latest addition to Sony’s a7 series of light, compact mirrorless cameras. Sony says this is the first fullframe camera to have 5-axis image stabilisation. The full-frame Exmor CMOS 24.3MP sensor moves along five axes to compensate for camera shake, meaning it can be used to capture handheld stills and video in low light where previous models
