Nadja und Nina, ihr habt ZUNANI im Jahr 2021 gegründet. Wie seid ihr auf die Idee gekommen?
Nadja and Nina, you founded ZUNANI in 2021. How did you come up with the idea?
Alles geschah an einem fantastischen Sommerabend. Wir gingen zum Abendessen in ein wunderschönes Restaurant in der Zürcher Altstadt. Das Ambiente und die Gerichte waren so fein, dass Nadja die Speisekarte erneut bestellte, um sich noch ein Trüffelgericht auszusuchen. Nina hatte hingegen Interesse an einem weiteren Glas Champagner, da ihr eigenes allmählich zur Neige ging.
It all took place on this fantastic summer evening. We went to a beautiful restaurant in Zurich's old town for dinner. The ambience and the dishes were so fine that Nadja ordered the menu once more to choose another truffle dish. Nina, on the other hand, was interested in another glass of champagne, since her own was gradually running out.
Wir stellten uns vor, wie sich der frisch gehobelte Trüffel wohl auf Nadjas Teller machen würde und waren schon voller Trüffelvorfreude. Nina fantasierte gleichzeitig davon, wie sie einen Hauch mehr Luxus in ihr Champagnerglas zaubern könnte. Sie stellte sich hierbei vor, dass ihr Champagnerglas mit zwei Trüffelscheiben veredelt werden könnte. Zuerst lachten wir und erfreuten uns an dieser extravaganten Idee. ”Trüffelchampagner, wie genial wäre das denn bitte, stell dir das mal vor!“.
We imagined how the freshly shaved truffle would look on Nadja's plate and were already full of truffle anticipation. At the same time, Nina fantasized about how she could conjure up a touch more luxury in her champagne glass. She imagined that her champagne glass could be refined with two slices of truffle. At first we laughed and enjoyed this extravagant idea. "Truffle champagne, how awesome would that be, please imagine that!".
