WeMove is a platform for instructors to curate fitness classes in NYC with an emphasis on social motivation.


PROBLEM

The lack of motivation of certain people due to three main factors: 1. Limiting memberships 2. Lack of social motivation 3. Inaccessibility of classes: location, budget, time. Only 21.5% of people in New York City meet the guidelines of doing at least 2.5 hours of moderate aerobic activity per week. Research also suggests that 50% of people starting an exercise program will drop out within the first 6 months.
