Be A Witness of the Celebration of the Month of Afro- Descendants in Costa Rica If visiting Costa Rica is on your bucketlist, this the ultimate tour that will allow you to explore the natural beauty and cultural diversity of the country. Approximately 20% of Costa Rica’s territory represent Reserves and National Parks, making it a destination like no other when it comes to commitment with environmentalism. Given this, an the great location in the Central American Isthmus it offers amazing wildlife and natural landscapes sightseeing, abundance of tropical foods, paradisiac beaches, happy and welcoming residents. As part of our Eco- Naturistic itinerary we will visit three National Parks: Irazu Volcano, Braulio Carrillo, Cahuita and Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. Also visit a Certified Organic Farm in Cartago and have a farm to table lunch, a cacao trail tour and visit to Volio Waterfall in the indigenous community of Bibri, in the South Caribbean Coast. We aim that this experience will not only enable you to see the natural beauties of Costa Rica, but also explore this little known corner of the African Diaspora by participating in the 18th edition Limon Roots Afrocultural Festival, the colorful Gala Parade in the city of Port Limon and other activities around the month of Afro Descendants in Costa Rica. Together we will contribute to be a bridge to cultural exchange and learning of the African legacy in the americas as a form of historical rescue and appropriation of our ancestral identity.
