Thank you! Thank you for coming to the first ever Cumbria Vegan Festival at the Rheged Centre. It is a pleasure to welcome you to the event. The profits from today will help FARPLACE ANIMAL RESCUE do more to help animals from across the UK and Ireland. We specialise in the more difficult cases and have helped many animals from the North West and Cumbria. If you are wanting many of the products featured today on an ongoing basis, be sure to pop into our VEGAN STORE at 71 Clayton St, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 5PY anytime 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. We are also launching today our TALKTOMEIMVEGAN campaign in the North West to encourage more conversations to happen about the benefits to the planet and health of veganism as well as the moral case for no animals to die for our choices. We have a feedback form on www.cumbriaveganfestival.co.uk – please take a moment to fill it in and help us keep improving the festivals. If you enjoyed today, be sure to come to our other events, a list of which is below. I would also like to thank our lovely sponsors and stall holders – without them, this event would not have been possible. Thank you so much and see you next time

FARPLACE ANIMAL RESCUE We are the organisers of The Cumbria Vegan Festival, meaning all proceeds from this event go to Farplace Animal Rescue. We are a strictly no-kill animal rescue sanctuary helping all the animals we can, so your attendance to this event is directly helping them. Our aim is simple; to prevent the mistreatment of animals. By running vegan festivals around the UK, we hope to promote the vegan diet in the most positive way possible, leading to more people cutting out animal products from their lives. We proudly put animals first and campaign against hunting, animals in circuses, the badger cull and much more. We think Breed Specific Legislation is wrong and punishes a breed when it should be on a caseby-case basis regardless of breed. We always need support for our animals, and donations are greatly appreciated. Donations can be sent to 122 Station Road, Wallsend N28 8QS or by phone on 0191 2637644. To set up a standing order please visit our website and see the Support Us section.

www.farplace.org.uk You can also text your support if in the UK... Text NEUTER to 70300 to give £10 Text LOVE to 70300 to give £5 Text STAFFIE to 70300 to give £3 Text LICK to 70300 to give £1 Texting CAT3 or CAT5 gives £3 or £5 per month Our feed bills alone can be as high as £3000 a month so any help is always very gratefully received. Thank you on behalf of all the animals. If you do not wish to hear from us again, add the words NO INFO to the text code
