t's not going to be a silent night on Saturday 21st December as 16 local acts take to the stage at Bootleg Social for A Very Messy Christmas 12 to help raise funds for the Blackpool Food Bank. For the 12th year (not in a row) 'A Very Messy Christmas' returns with around 16 local acts taking to the stage to completely ruin Christmas for everyone, ensuring your festive season is crushed more than that time the pony shaped present under the tree turned out to be a fold out clothes drying maiden. Each act on the night gets a three song set list, at least one song has to be a cover of a classic Christmas tune, this gives the audience a chance to, not only sample some of the best new original music in the area, but get the chance to sing-a-long to some festive anthems. All profits on the night will once again be donated be to the Blackpool Food Bank, who help local people who are living below the poverty line. They work together with front-line agencies across Blackpool to provide emergency food parcels for people in need. There will be charity buckets going around on the night so bring some change and please DIG DEEP.
