How Fights Start
My wife sat down on the settee next to me as I was flipping channels. She asked, 'What's on TV?' I said, 'Dust.' And then the fight started... ................................................................................ My wife and I were watching "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" while we were in bed. I turned to her and said, "Do you want a cuddle?"
When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her some place expensive... So, I took her to a petrol station. And then the fight started... ..................................................................................... My wife and I were sitting at a table at my school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table. My wife asked, 'Do you know her?' 'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.'
"No," she answered. I then said, "Is that your final answer?"
'My God!' says my wife, 'who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?'
She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying, "Yes."
And then the fight started... .....................................................................................
So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend."
I took my wife to a restaurant. The waiter, for some reason took my order first. "I'll have the steak, medium rare, please."
And then the fight started.... ................................................................................ I rear-ended a car this morning. So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car. You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny? Yeah, well I couldn't believe it.... He was a DWARF!!! He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, "I AM NOT HAPPY!!!" So, I looked down at him and said, "Well, then which one are you?" And then the fight started..... ............................................................................... My wife was hinting about what she wanted for our upcoming anniversary. She said, 'I want something shiny that goes from 0 to 150 in about 3 seconds.' I bought her a bathroom scale. And then the fight started... ...................................................................................
8
He said, "Aren't you worried about the mad cow?"" Nah, she can order for herself." And then the fight started... ..................................................................................... A woman was standing nude, looking in the bedroom mirror. She was not happy with what she saw and said to her husband, "I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly. I really need you to pay me a compliment.' The husband replied, 'Your eyesight's damn near perfect.' And then the fight started..... ..................................................................................... If you have any clean jokes that you would like to send us and join in the laughter, well do our best to print them email info@link-magazine.co.uk only thanks.

North Fylde Group Steve and Eric GO! back to school Masons Steve Marshall and Eric Bridge from Cleveleys Park Lodge No 7540 went back to school for the afternoon and found themselves taking part in a musical extravaganza with the children and teachers of Red Marsh School. The pupils were discovering about the customs and costumes of their counterparts in India, China and Iceland and had put their findings to music. Head teacher Catherine Dellow invited their guests to a preview of the children‟s concert by way of thanks for a gift the Masons had brought for the school. Steve, who is in the chair of Cleveleys Park Lodge which meets at West Drive Masonic Hall Cleveleys, was at Red Marsh School with Eric to hand over a cheque for £500 for special project. The school is participating in the Great Outdoors (GO!) Project which encourages the children to make use of a brand new play area which is being jointly developed by Red Marsh and near neighbour Great Arley School. Project manager Ian Squire explained that the mission is to create a place where disability becomes invisible and will with help from lottery funding which the school won after they reached the final of the People‟s Millions scheme.
10
When Cleveleys Park Lodge heard that the next phase of the plan was on the drawing board, that of creating an active sensory zone for the children, they decided to pitch in. The Masons‟ cheque will go some way towards obtaining large garden items such as wind pipes, sound rollers and dance chimes and phones in wood and stone which will help children who have difficulty in communicating in a fun way. … And
that concert? Steve and Eric wholeheartedly agreed that the sing along had made their day, “just that bit special.”

How important are the Title Deeds to your home? Some time ago, I wrote in these pages about the difficulties encountered when the will of a deceased person cannot be found – not as uncommon as you might think. “I know my father made a will but it is not where we thought he had stored it!” However, the will is not the only document whose disappearance can cause real problems when dealing with a deceased person‟s estate. For the majority of people making a will, their home is their main asset. In order to sell a deceased person‟s property the executor needs to be able to show proof of ownership. This is usually straightforward for anyone who has lived in their house for less than 20 years as the ownership of their property will be registered at the Land Registry and the original Title Deeds are not required. It doesn‟t cause a problem if they are lost. Mortgage lenders no longer hold on tightly to Title Deeds as they used to. However, anyone who purchased their home more than 20 years ago may well not be registered and the Title Deeds will need to be produced when selling their property. There are many elderly people who have been living in their homes for many years before Land Registration became compulsory. I have come across several cases during recent months of home owners who were not registered and they were unsure where their Deeds were kept. They are usually tracked down either at their bank, their solicitor or with their final mortgage lender. They are sometimes on top of the wardrobe…. Shudder! Anyone with elderly parents who have lived in the same house for many years would be wise to check if the property ownership is registered and, if not, find out where they think their Title Deeds are kept. Then check that they are there. This could save a lot of stress and expense running around at a later date when your parents are no longer able to be consulted. A search to find if a property is registered can be done online at www.landregistry.gov.uk The In-Home Legal Services stand will be back in the Teanlowe Centre in Poulton on Monday 2nd November.

Fleetwood Town unveiled plans for its new £4m stand at a public meeting in Highbury Stadium during October. The flagship 2000-seater development was given a warm response by the 100 or so people in attendance, including supporters, residents and local and county councillors. Chairman Andy Pilley said this final phase of the football ground redevelopment will be the most exciting so far, following on from three new stands, supporters bar Football League standard floodlights and a brand new playing surface in recent years.
Fleetwood Town‟s three junior girls‟ teams were amongst a crowd of over 3,500 who saw Everton midfielder Fara Williams hit a hat-trick as England opened their 2011 World Cup qualifying campaign with an easy 8-0 victory over a poor Malta. The game took place at Blackpool's Bloomfield Road at the 60-strong party from Fleetwood included 14-year old midfielder Jessica Smith who attends Cardinal Allen High School. “I really enjoyed my first international game. It was a good performance by England. Spending the evening with the two other Fleetwood Town girl‟s teams was also good as it brought us together. We don‟t spend that much time together as we train on different evenings.” Manager of the Under 10 side Charlotte Smith,
17, hopes her team picked up a few tips from the national side. “It‟s great being able to watch England on your own doorstep. My girls watched the England players closely and I look forward to seeing what they learnt in our next training session. The girls are really developing as a team and have become good friends since “This is an exciting 2000-seater grandstand which we formed in the summer.” will have state of the art facilities.
