1963, winter. Everyone gathers in the village hall. Daisy places her hand on the switch, presses it down, and life is never the same again.
In much the same way as the brilliant Transatlantic Sessions does, Britain's premiere AngloAmerican folk-roots duo embraces the shared heritage of country and Celtic music, with James Hickman's emotive, soaring vocals, driving guitar and lively English wit set against Dan Cassidy's virtuosic fiddling and bone-dry American drawl. Here, Kathryn's powerful voice is matched against Sean's driving guitar on a set of impressive modern folk songs and heartfelt traditional numbers, switching from thoughtful ballads to stomping acoustic rock.
