Poster study during a project: 1. Context & Transfer Make a research about the topic ornament. Design a poster referred to your research. I chose light, emptyness and time as atipical ornaments. Then I built the geometries with paper. 2. Basic Design by the use of Generative Design Design posters based on the ornament, work with one of the following instruments of Generative Design: - Processing - Scriptographer Poster 1 Display freely the graphic elements Poster 2 Display the graphic elements following a typographic grid. Here I did ironic posters: doodling, nature, as the
assignment 1, and music and grill as a grid. 3. Basic Design & Perception Design a system composed by 26 signs. Design a poster using your Pi-Font. The Pi-Font uses the braille code. When geometry becomes writing. 4. Perception and Trilingualism Make a research on the grammatical and linguistic errors most frequently committed in the three teaching languages. Choose from your research a typical error, and than represent the principle of this error with a poster. At the beginning, I didn’t know the double meaning of the German word “Puff�. And after a trip to Netherland, I made those posters. 5. Basic Design & Perception:
Description Coloured Grammar From the list given to you, choose a text about colour. Understand the thought of the author, and design a poster based on that. Mine was about colour perception: so I did a poster with luminux ink, that changes with light and reveales other infos in the darkness. 6. Basic Design: Mixing between analogical and digital methods Reconstruct the digital ornament using analogical tools. Design a poster from the analogical reconstruction. The first one is about sticky typography glued to a window, and the other one is reproducing type with grass. Workshop 1. Persian Calligraphy Typographic and calligraphic design of a headboard or of a
logotype in FarsĂŹ, working just with analogical tools. Workshop 2. Poster | Ahmad Shamlou Design a poster to honor the tenth anniversary of the death of the persian poet Ahmad Shamlou.
