To the best of my belief, landscape Architecture is a complicated subject that integrates scientific and artistic methods to create a beautiful outdoor living surrounding for people. Thus, during my undergraduate study at Beijing Forestry University,I put great emphasis on systematic training to develop my skills from all aspects and on-site involvement to apply what taught in class to practical work. While these practical works bestowed me experiences and expertise I had never got before, I further realized that with the advancement of science and technology, landscape Architecture could play a more significant role in our lives by combining more new technologies and materials.

DESIGN BRIEF:
Every year, monarch butterfly flies up to 2,500 miles from its breeding grounds in the US and Canada, all the way down to its hibernation grounds in central Mexico and the coast of central and southern California . However, in the past 20 years, due to climate change and urban expansion, the number of monarch butterflies is becoming less and less. The design site is selected in Watsonville, which is the winter habitat and main activity areas of the monarch butterfly .The research found that the monarch butterfly's ecological corridor in the site is fragmented and there are few types of activities venues for people. As a landscape designer,I try to reconstruct the landscape and urban life inside the site by combing the relationship between the monarch butterflies and people. In that way, people can be educated by experienceing the joy of living in harmony between humans and animals in the process.
Watsonvile
There are two distinct populations of monarch butterflies in the U.S.——those living east of the Rockies and those living to the west. While those living to the east typically migrate to Mexico for the winter, those living to the west migrate to the coast of central and southern California.

Migration Distribution
NUMBER
The phenomenon of butterfly migration was first definitively reported in 1857.
The industrial revolution promoted the urbanization process of the U.S.
In the past five years,it is realized the importance of the monarch butterfly, and have begun to explore ways to protect the monarch butterfly.
As it is occupied most of the land for production activities, the habitats of the monarch butterfly have destroyed which caused its death in large numbers.

Dense Forest
Provide butterfly a continuous food source.
Plant native milkweed in unused portions of the site to provide food for caterpillars.
Plant milkweeds in sunny spots. Some Protection from The Wind
Farmlands
Herbicides and pesticides should be avoided.
River
Herbicides, if required, should be applied with targeted spot treatments instead of a broadcast method.
Wetlands
Roads
Contradiction between Men and Butterflies Poor integration of natural education and environment
Poor Urban Connectivity
Reduction of Dense forest
Poor City Vitality
The destruction of the forest made the butterfly lack a place to live in the winter.
Children have no place for nature education.
People seldom go to agricultural areas, and the functions of agricultural areas are single, which made farmers squeezed out and forgotten by cities.
Few types of viewing activities
It is difficult to attract butterflies and other insects in the planting method of the city. And it is hard for people to feel the nature.
People lacks interests in watching butterflies, which makes it a little difficult for the tourism industry to form a distinctive feature.
Absence of milkweeds
Geographic Information Hierarchy Built-up Areas
Category 1
Habitat is rare or fragile and essential to monarch viability or has exceptional diversity.
Because of the occupation of farmland, the natural milkweed is reduced; As It's onecrop farming, there is little nectar except the blooming period.
Waterway
The construction of mowed lawn destroyed the habitat of monarch butterflies.
People's unplanned viewing activities disrupted the hibernation of butterflies.

Wasp monarch Butterfly
Less Use of Urban Native Plants
Besides,We can also help agricultural production activities in daliy life!
Habitat is less relevant to monarch populations.
The countryside is separated from the main city.
Site
Poor Landscape of Traffic Bicycle lanes and landscape trails are poor in landscape and also lack opportunities for people to interact with nature and living creature.
The traffic is inconvenient.
Category 5
Agriculture
Urban exotic plants have poor adaptability and high mortality; Milkweed and other native plants have a strong landscape and high survival rate after being cultivated.
......
Problems
The park lacks other attractions except butterfly migration season. The school has no practice space for natural education.
Site Framework
Existing parks do not have properly designed Spaces for butterfly viewing, which can easily cause damage to the butterflies.
We will work hard to resolve the contradic -tion between you and me.Then, you can migrate freely!
All right!
High Mortality Rate of The Traffic
If the moanrch butterfly cannot find a shaded shelter on the highway , it may easily be killed by a vehicle or bicycle.

I am a waterman from Daharavi.
It All Starts With A Movie......
No.35 Tsinghua East Rd,Haidian District,Beijing.China.
DESIGN BRIEF:
Dharavi is a locality in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, considered to be one of Asia's largest slums. Denis Gruber said that “From the main road leading through Dharavi, the place makes a desperate impression. However, once having entered the narrow lanes Dharavi proves that the prejudice of slums as dirty, underdeveloped, and criminal places does not fit real living conditions. Sure, communal sanitation blocks that are mostly in a miserable condition and overcrowded space do not comfort the living. Inside the huts, it is, however, very clean, and some huts share some elements of beauty. Nice curtains at the windows and balconies covered by flowers and plants indicate that people try to arrange their homes as cosy and comfortable as possible." This sentence touched me greatly. Maybe Dharavi is missing such an opportunity which is open to the outside and reveals its own culture. This project aims to meet the needs of local people's activities, while giving them chance to show their street art culture. The site area is small, so the design of sinking terrain and elevated bridges is adopted to increase the available space.

Major volcanoes in the world
Sumatra is located on the western edge of the Asia-Europe plate and is part of the Eurasian seismic belt. Padang is the capital of West Sumatra. There have been many large earthquakes in history, which triggered tsunamis.
2269367190@qq.com 2020.08-2020.12 TIME:
I hope to create a smart city system that can provide people with science popularization education and timely alarm before the disaster; help people quickly escape during the disaster, and help people quickly return life to normal after the disaster, and minimize the impact of the disaster as much as possible. I used resilient landscape design to let the communities recover more quickly from extreme disasters now and in the future. When disasters have overwhelm -ed traditional and built systems, adaptive multilevel systems which can sustain critical functions are the most cost-effective and viable solution. In an era of inundation, climate warming and budget cuts, the best defense is adaptation, as nature adapts to itself.
3.Next Set off an oscillation, which develops underwater at great speed. 4.Sea water is sucked back from the shore. 5.Waves grow in size as depth becomes shallower.

A Research For Basic Urban Conditions
DESIGN BRIEF:
Padang is located at the junction of the AsiaEurope Plate and the Indian Ocean Plate, above the Pacific Rim Volcanic Seismic Belt. Sudden large earthquakes will even trigger a tsunami, causing huge proper t y and casualties. After the disaster, it was difficult for Padang to quickly return to normal life.

----<The stars> Edith Irene Södergran From the poem, we extracted the two intentions of "night color" and "star" as the entry point for the creation of the flower border. The main color of the flower border was set as the contrasting color of blue-purple and yellow-orange, with blue and purple as the main color, dotted with stars and dots. The elegant yellow-orange color symbolizes the garden under the night curtain and the fragments of stars scattered in the garden. It is lively in the quiet.
