LIVE loves BIG NAMES. Lobero bringing the two together SMALL ROOM. like nowhere else. Jazz at the Lobero is celebrating 15 big years of connecting jazz stars and fans like never before with an unprecedented two-part jazz series. The Fall Series showcases the Joshua Redman Trio, Dorado Schmitt and the Django Festival All Stars, and New Orleans Legends the Preservation Hall Jazz Band with Allen Toussaint. It’s a fun series from beginning to end celebrating the depth and diversity of the genre. Then, in the spring we’ll offer three more jazz artists at the top of their craft. In addition to this dynamic jazz series, we’re offering special 3-or-more concert pricing for all Lobero LIVE offerings this season. Build your own series based on what you love and save 10% on the order. Blues fans are in for a treat; we’ve got The Robert Cray Band and Taj Mahal as well as bluegrass supergroup the Dave Rawlings Machine all coming up this season. Fans of female singer songwriters can enjoy Mary Chapin Carpenter and folk songstresses Mary Gauthier, Eliza Gilkyson and Gretchen Peters as they bring us Three Women and the Truth. Guitar fans–don’t miss the fretboard fireworks of David Lindley, or Bill Frisell’s newest creative offering, Guitar in the Space Age. As you review the performances in this upcoming season, we’ll point out a few genre links for you to explore, or ignore. Select a grouping we’ve suggested or feel free to pick and choose as you like. Either way, you’ll enjoy the benefits of being a Lobero subscriber. VIP tickets include an exclusive reception before the performance and a tax-deductible gift to the Lobero. Take advantage of the VIP experience–that gift keeps great performers on our stage, and provides a whole evening of fun. We’ll see you at the theatre,
David Asbell, Executive Director
