URBAN DESIGN Project 2: The goal of the studio was to design large scale urban designs. In this project the design was of a multi-purpose complex including commercial facilities, offices and hotels. The site for the design was located exactly at the Nile, so that the functions of the different facilities is based on the surrounding environment and urban texture and culture. The design also emphasized appropriate pedestrian and vehicular circulation as well as integrating landscape aspects.
