COOMERA CAUSEWAY PARKLAND AND CROSSING Council has recently purchased the three remaining lots around the freshwater lake to protect the area from commercial and residential development. Designs are now being developed for a concept to liberate the parkland for use by the whole community. This will include fishing jetties, play equipment, walk and bike ways and a new boat ramp.

OXENFORD CBD Federal funding has been given for a new Super GP Clinic to be built on vacant land on the Tamborine Oxenford Road. Great news for our rapidly growing area. There is also a Bunnings Store nearing completion, which will provide 200+ jobs. Aldi Stores have also advised their intention to move into the Oxenford area. Although there has been some concern from local business, the Town Plan allows for these inclusions to our area.
