.Introduction 城市乘載著歷史、記憶與慾望，城市的閱讀透過 不同的視角讓我們閱讀到的城市不盡相同。noli map圖底圖作為一種閱讀城市公共與私密的方式 ，若將城市視為一篇文章，城市的變動性如何以 語言的邏輯與文字來詮釋並改寫 ? 供人閱讀與複寫的後市場時代，將台北變遷的城 市文字邏輯，從物件至都市的觀察轉變成一種城 市新舊閱讀文字遊戲的填字機制...
Cities are loaded with history, memories and desires. Reading cities makes us read different cities from different perspectives. The base map of noli map is a way to read the public and private of the city. If the city is regarded as an article, how can the variability of the city be interpreted and rewritten with the logic and words of the language? The post-market era for people to read and rewrite has transformed Taipei’s changing urban text logic from the observation of objects to the city into a kind of crossword mechanism of urban new and old reading word games...

Collage City uses base maps as a way to read the public and private spaces of the city. Every city exists, with texts depicting them in different faces. Perhaps the city is like an article. The relationship between article and text is like city and architecture...

Steven Holl 曾用英文字母去記錄紐約中建築形態與 街道生活的狀態，發展出了字母城市閱讀方式。而當 我回看繁體中文文字與文章的關係，我發現中文可以 藉由文字排版的方式，讓同一篇文章產生出閱讀上的 差異。因此我開始嘗試用同一篇文章，藉由文字的變 動去詮釋台北中重要區域的變遷。尋找建築在城市中 亦字亦空的機會，研究一種閱讀城市空白與操作城市 填空邏輯的方式，將城市尺度的變動性帶入建築，讓 它對城市進行一連串的覆寫。 Steven Holl used to study the form and function of the buildings of the New York City in English alphabatics. Then, he developed the alphabatical city which is a way of urban reading. When I look back at the relationship between the Chinese text and the article, I found that Chinese can make a difference in reading of the same article through text layout. So I started to try to use the same article to interpret the changes in important areas in Taipei City through changes in characters. Look for opportunities for buildings to be empty and empty in the city, and study a way to read urban blanks and operate the logic of urban filling in the blanks, to bring the variability of urban scale into architecture, and let it approach a series of rewriting of the city.

During the period, the Japnese government prefer another Plan for Taipei. As the area became the edge of the city, the government planned the red-light district here to overwrite another usage for the place.
一篇複雜的文章 - 台北第一街，貴陽街 它是台北最早開始發展的街道，豐富的歷史涵構，讓 都市變遷的紋理交織於街道上。在過去作為城市的入 口市集聚於貴陽街的沿街面，然而，在一次的都市計 畫後，街道上的攤販遷入藏在城市背後的”直興傳統 市場”。隨著都市快速的變遷，市場是否因為商業行 為的轉變，也在城市的背後慢慢消逝? 在改寫這篇局部的文章前，我嘗試用1938年日本的 職業類別圖做為紀錄地面層生活的方法，去理解這篇 複雜文章的生活脈絡。

The Market Words 文字化的市場研究 - 字 市場攤販，藉由”說文解字”解讀一個攤販中可辨識 物件的意義。發現完成攤販的行為如同文字的組成。 借用中文六書對於文字的拆解，攤販中的物件有的表 現販賣形式，有的形容販賣狀態，發現市場攤販水平 組合的邏輯，可以藉由不同物件的拆組形成不同攤販 的模樣。
Textual market research-word I tried to read market vendors in "Traditional Chinese words construction" to interpret the meaning of identifiable objects in a vendor. It is found that the behavior of the vendor is like a composition of words. By dismantling the words in Chinese words construction, the items in the vendors show the form of sale, and some describe the state of sale. It is found that the logic of the level combination of market vendors can be formed by disassembling different objects to form different vendors and living condition.

市場攤販，藉由”說文解字”解讀一個攤販中可辨識物件的意義。發 現完成攤販的行為如同文字的組成。借用中文六書對於文字的拆解， 攤販中的物件有的表現販賣形式，有的形容販賣狀態，發現市場攤販 水平組合的邏輯，可以藉由不同物件的拆組形成不同攤販的模樣。

Post-Market Language 後市場設計提供的是一個能將市場既定記憶收納並持 續影響未來生活的城市機器。 我的設計策略是希望藉由一大片屋頂去收納從過去至 今的生活狀態，如：物理環境、目前的攤販密度。藉 由這樣的方式去提高地面層在未來有更高的變動性， 因此我開始嘗試將城市中不斷改寫的訊息或生活轉變 為一層層的屋頂。讓市場如同劇場一般，短期而言， 它在不同的時間適應城市的活動；長期而言，它將會 與城市周遭的生活一同演化。 The post-market design provides an urban machine that can store the established memories of the market and continue to influence future life. My design strategy is to use a large roof to house the living conditions from the past to the present, such as the physical environment and the current density of vendors. In this way, the ground floor has a higher variability in the future, so I started to try to transform the constantly rewritten message or life in the city into layered roofs. Let the market be like a theater. In the short term, it adapts to the activities of the city at different times; in the long term, it will evolve with the life around the city.

由於我的基地位於四個街區之中，連結了城市不同時期留下的生活樣態，讓這裡的城市空間有了可以依 再被重新定義而使用的空間。例如：市場的本館除了作為生鮮市場以外，有一半的空間是提供給每月初 一十五攤商們拜拜的信仰空間；市場的部分攤販在營業時間結束前是熱絡的市集，營業時間過後則是成 為周遭夜市備料的後場空間；周遭因為在過去是入船港埠，許多的移民在這裡樹立他們的宗教信仰，因 此常有廟會或是信仰活動發生於此，當這些事件發生時，信仰的空間開始會佔據街道，街道似乎轉變成 了另一種尺度。因此我嘗試將這些城市周遭既有的生活與活動部份的收入我的市場，並將他們轉化建築 物物件式的可變動屋頂。 Since my site is hidden in four blocks, it connects the life styles of the city in different periods, giving the urban space here a space that can be redefined and used. For example: In addition to serving as a fresh food market, the main hall of the market has half of the space provided for the worship of vendors on the 15th day of each month; some vendors in the market are hot bazaars before the end of business hours, and after business hours It becomes the backfield space for the surrounding night market; because in the past it was a port of entry, many immigrants established their religious beliefs here, so there are often temple fairs or religious activities happening here. When these events happen, there is a space for faith. At first it will occupy the street, and the street seems to be transformed into another scale. Therefore, I try to collect the existing living and activities of these cities into my market, and convert them into movable roofs of building objects.

Since my site is hidden in four blocks, it connects the life style of the city from different periods. So I tried to incorporate the existing life and activities around the city into my market, and convert them into several movable roofs. Therefore, my roof is divided into two layers：One is a memory roof translated from the old market, and the other is the roof of the object elements from the public life of this city, such as, barbecu e|ventilation car, religience table ceiling, and linear sushi house lamps. ..

第一層，將過去的城市記憶轉譯成MEP的後 市場語，提供下個時代攤販繼續生活的行為 邏輯。
The first layer translates the memory of the past city into the post-market language of MEP, and provides the behavior logic of the vendors in the next era.
第二層，將市場現有的活動交替轉化為建築 尺度的元素變動，大神桌、通氣車與壽司座 ，藉由變動讓市場於城市這篇文章中的定位 得以切換。
On the second level, the existing activities of the market are alternately transformed into changes in the elements of the architectural scale, such as the Great God Table, the Ventilator, and the Sushi Seat. The changes allow the market to switch its positioning in this article on the city.

烤肉通風車： 透過屋頂的位置，去定義街道寬度的尺度回應 不同大小的城市活動；藉由屋頂上方的通風設 備，完成白天與晚上不同使用的排風方向。
Barbecue ventilation car: Through the location of the roof, the scale of the street width is defined to respond to urban activities of different sizes; with the ventilation equipment above the roof, different exhaust directions used during the day and night are completed.

在新的市場平面，我保留了原先所有 攤販的位置與數量，重新規矩佈點固 定攤販的位置(紅色的部分)，用大小不 同的桌子來回應現在攤販的狀態。 例如:短的代表有冰的攤販...因此也能 從新的屋頂隱約讀到過去攤販的分區 。
In the new market, I kept the original positions and numbers of the vendors, re-arranged and fixed the positions of the vendors in the red part, and used tables of different sizes to respond to the current state of the vendors. For example: the short one represents a stall with ice...so you can vaguely read the partition of the past stall from the new roof.

當不定期事件於此發生，在每年的10 月中附近的青山王祭來臨，市場的屋 頂會降下大尺度的神桌重新定義市場 空間的使用與尺度。 原本屋頂的線性元素將會因為神桌的 一棟延伸出市場的框架外，重新定義 市場與城市的空間。

When unscheduled events happen here, the Qingshan Wang Festival comes around in mid-October every year, and large-scale god tables will be lowered on the roof of the market to redefine the use and scale of the market space. The original linear element of the roof will redefine the space of the market and the city because of the extension of the table of the gods outside the frame of the market.

這是一個 後市場時代，一個新形態台灣市場的提案 我們無法限定市場的未來該是如何，而是將市場交由使用者能繼續一起生活的演化 過程。當新舊秩序並置，人們的生活將持續改變，市場將與城市中生活的人們一起 改寫著這篇直興傳統市場的重要篇章。
This is a post-market era, a proposal for a new form of the Taiwan market We cannot define the future of the market, but leave the market to the evolutionary process in which users can continue to live together. When the old and new orders are juxtaposed, people's lives will continue to change, and the market will rewrite this important chapter of the Zhixing traditional market together with people living in the city.
