A NEW CAREER HIGH ...
W, 39-17 Sophomore linebacker Calvin Harridge set a career high last weekend against Coe, totaling 18 tackles on the afternoon. Along with that, Harridge also had two tackles for a loss, and a sack in the Duhawks loss. Through the first four games of the season he leads the Loras defense with 42 tackles, with 27 being solo hits. Junior JP Awe comes in second with 29 tackles on the year. In 2013 Harridge led the Duhawks with 86 total tackles on the year, with 64 being solo stops.

Maligranda gave Kelly plenty of time to throw against Coe. The Kohawk defense managed one sack on the afternoon. Through the first four games, the Duhawks have averaged nearly 50 passes per game and only given up eight sack. That protection up front will be the key to having a successful passing attack.
BEHIND ENEMY LINES ...

After dropping their opening two games to the University of WisconsinPlatteville (63-3), and the University of Concordia-Moorhead (30-9), they have rebounded with back to back wins against Waldorf College (55-38), and Simpson College (38-31). The Beavers will boast the past two Iowa Conference Athletes of the Week in senior quarterback Bobby Brown, and senior wide receiver Gunner Gilland. Last weekend against Simpson, Gilland caught 15 passes for 236 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, the Beavers are led by senior linebacker Austin Gibbs with 36 tackles.
