Wartburg put the Duhawks on their heels early when Zubeen Azari beat Adam Roloff to the near post in the 18th minute. Loras nearly added an insurance goal on multiple occassion in the second half but it was ultimately Dillon Olson in the 76th minute scoring the third goal for the Duhawks. Olson fought his was through the Knights’ defense on a 40-yard dribble. Inside the penalty area, Olson dribble to his right and ripped home his first goal of the year.
PIZZELLO LIGHTING THE LAMP...
The offensive eruption from senior Mike Pizzello has been a pleasant surprise for the Duhawks this season. In his previous two seasons on varsity, Pizzello registered five goals and four assists. To date, Pizzello has 11 goals and one assist, marking the first Duhawk to tally double digit goals since 2010, when Miguel Bonilla finished with 10 goals and seven assists.
