DUHAWKS HUNGRY FOR FIRST CONFERENCE WIN …
Despite taking an early match lead, the Duhawks remained winless after falling to Wartburg 3-1. Freshman libero Haley Bergan, senior Courtney Boyd, and sophomore Brittany Lijewski held down the back row for Loras. Day two posed a new challenge for the Duhawks as they took on the top two teams in the NACC. A tough five-set match with Edgewood ended in favor of the Eagles, 3-2, before Loras bounced back to take down Dominican, 3-1.
