Street Science beat 17 other providers in their category to win at the Gala Dinner and Awards ceremony held at The Star Sydney, with over 1,000 guests in attendance. “We are extremely proud to have taken out this award. After a couple of challenging years in education services, the team at Street Science have worked hard to continue to provide schools and the community with access to engaging science education events. Like a lot of small businesses we’ve had to innovate and change, and we are beyond excited to have been recognised by the Australian Small Business Champion Awards,” says Steve Liddell, Founder of Street Science. Congratulations to Steve and the local team!

Further information is set to be released in the coming months of a new building which will sit proud in the Nundah landscape. The new building will provide residents with new retail offerings, additional visitor parking, and will continue to grow Nundah as a destination. The site currently sits idle with vacant tenancies, so developer Gardner Vaughan Group (GVG) has approached the neighbouring community to offer these tenancies to flood-affected retailers at Toombul Shopping Centre. “Hopefully by assisting a few of these stores, we can provide short term relief to continue trading through these very difficult times,” says Claire O’Hara, Gardner Vaughan Group. Local ANZAC Day Services 2022 As the sun rose on April 25, 1915, Australian and New Zealand soldiers rowed towards the shores of Gallipoli and into history itself. Every year since, as the sun rises, Australians gather across the nation to remember their legacy, and the legacy of all those who have followed in their footsteps. All members of the community are invited to attend ANZAC Day services on Monday, April 25.
