However, what matters most is the dash between those years which represented all the time spent alive on earth. I ask myself, how wouLd I spend that dash in my life on my last day? I wouLd find a spot with grass and trees and spend the day in reflection and quiet time. ln the siLence that cocoons me, lgive thanks for the all the amazing works 6od has provided me in my life and for the world. I am extremely grateful that ny teaching career calLed me to be a mentor for teachers spanning the special education to gifted LeveLs in grades kindergarten to Twelfth. lt is a blessing to teach side by side with fellow catechists and assist my former students with their drama education program, called Ahana Arts.
Cailng for my 90 year old and legatl.y blind mother, tested my skiLLs as a teacher and my patience as well. Through her I Learned that the process of aging is not an easy concept to grasp. lt requires one's understanding of self-dignity, peace and acceptance.

RCIA is liturgical Beginning with the Rite of Acceptance for unbaptized catechumens and going through the minor rites through to the Rite of Election on the First Sunday of Lent and then the Flites of the Sacraments on Easter Vigil, the process of entering into the faith for Adults is powered by prayer and the grace of the Liturgical celebrations. RCIA aims to lead participants to become liturgical people, moving them toward full and active participation in the worshipping community around the one Table. "The liturgy gives what it teaches." 'Ano'ai Kdkou, As always, we are in need of volunteers. We are assisting students in the English Language Acquisition program and those trying to get their GED. All Native English speakers can help, as well as anyone that can speak a common language here (cuirently our studJnts speak Korean, Cantonese, Pofiuguese, Japanese, and others). We ire glad more and more students sign up each week, but we are lacking volunteers to help keep up. For other ongoing programs, we enjoyed our first ESL {English as a second Language) Bible study last Friday, September 29th at 5:30 pm.
