\Men I was growing up, Thanksgiving and Chri$mm were always great feads in our house. Turkey, ma$ed potatoes, gr€My, and mrn were on the menu in November. Ihe Deember menu s/b$ituted roa$ beef for turkey, and my father would poor a little sip of sparkling wine for eacfr of us--a onoe -a-yeartreat.

There is something sensual and erthy about gathering around a table with family and friends lt beginswith the smellswafting through the house, the noie in the.kitden, the setting of the table with more than the weryday plate \Arb dress a little more carefully. \Ab are preparing for our family banquet. No matter what food is on the table, we ll be fed with love that drars us in and us simply because wearefamily.
