barlow house fund In 1999, Droichead Arts Centre made history purchasing Barlow House, a fine Georgian Building situated on Narrow West Street, as a second premises for the arts centre. The building functions as offices and room rental space for workshops, classes and meetings. Built in 1734 by Alderman James Barlow, it is regarded as the finest Palladian style Georgian Townhouse to survive in Drogheda. In 1986, An Foras Forbatha declared the building to be of national importance. Recently Barlow House had its grand windows restored. By donating to the Barlow House Fund, you will help raise much needed funds to maintain the upkeep of this magnificent historical building. Donations over â‚Ź250 are tax deductible.
